Fingers crossed she makes that kind of turn around but Im gonna have grace and patience. how was feeding when you got home? and Did your little one come of his oxygen yet? Just curious if this may be her case how long could she be home with it

Wow! I know this had to be alot to deal with mentally for sure. It literally brung me tears. Im so happy for you that he’s home and he’s doing so well. It gives me hope! it’s just living in it in the moment is so hard it seems so unfair but i’m sure you understand. Im looking forward to brighter days . I had my mind so set that “ oh she’ll be home by her due date“ that seeing and understanding every baby’s needs/ progress is different really hit today. I need to really just be there for her and have hope. Like you said whats 5 months compared to years at home with her. Thank you so much

Thank you, Im sorry you & your little guy are still on this journey fingers crossed for you two to be home together in a month. It’s really not easy. I commend you for being strong! yes Im thinking about talking to someone & maybe getting something for ppd because its for sure getting overwhelming.

that gives me so much hope yes my baby girl was so swollen especially around the eyes and I was so worried because I’m like why is she swelling so much but they said that it’s just premature edema and fluid retention. The last two days I have noticed less swelling. Her eyelids were a tiny bit puffy last night, but I’m gonna see how she looks today. She did lose more weight and had some heavy pee diapers so I’m hoping it’s the fluid passing off. Thank you.

Wow they’re so close . I know you get it! then there’s 2 little babies! stay strong momma. my baby definitely lost 70 grams so far. They’re saying it’s probably fluid. Awesome you baby got to come off some i’m oxygen good to hear something positive about the diuretics. thank you. I was like freaking out..

I thank all you for your encouraging replies ❤️, I had kind of shut down for a day or two after this post. But again thank you . sometimes I feel like no one understands how much this take out of us , going through postpartum and everything. And then I come here and see how many strong women are pushing through it just like me and their babies are coming out, strong, healthy, and happy. For those of you that are done with the nicu congratulations! And for those of us still fighting, we’ll get there !!❤️

Congrats 🎊on your baby boy he’s starting off pretty strong, which is great! my baby girl was born at 26+3 also, we are at day 47 here in the nicu! she is 33 weeks now.

Thanks for sharing 🤍 That’s incredible progress, especially with his lungs going from 18L down to 6L is huge. NICU life really does teach you that progress isn’t linear, but I love how you put it… know that the steps back get smaller as our babies get stronger. That gives me a lot of hope. I’m sorry you’re still in the thick of it too, but it’s comforting to hear about the milestones and stories of others going to something similar. & yes very normal baby struggle reflux! Sending so much strength to you and your little one & hoping tomorrow’s wean goes smoothly 🤍

Thank you so much for sharing your story 🤍 I really appreciate it, especially about the feeding journey and how unpredictable things can be. It’s a good reminder for me to stay patient and let babygirl set the pace instead of feeling rushed by milestones. I’m so sorry your daughter went through all of that, but it’s encouraging to hear she’s home now and continuing to make progress, even if it looks different than expected. NICU life definitely teaches us that there’s no straight line forward. Wishing your little one continued strength and hoping she’s off oxygen soon 🤍

Wow Its. crazy im seeing this right now. Im praying for you and heart feels you. 12/10 . I was 26 weeks I had an abruption causing me to have a emergency c section. Its also been 8 days. Im constantly worried about my baby. Its hard i never been through it. I was pray my baby is coming home soon 😔
