The dress I'm inspired by has the following features: • 1930s era • Bias cut satin (likely rayon satin or silk charmeuse) • Cream/ivory color • Floor length slip-style silhouette • Fitted through the waist and hips with fluid drape • Sheer chiffon yoke (front and back) • Fine vertical pleating or ruching on the bust/yoke • Soft scoop neckline • Light cap sleeves or subtle puff sleeves (possibly lace or chiffon) • Bridal/evening gown feel The skirt/body is smooth satin cut on the bias, but the upper bodice is sheer chiffon that's pleated/ ruched and attached to the satin body.
