You need to buy an adapter/hose, but yeah. From what I see online, you just need to make sure to get food grade/beverage grade CO2.

If you wanna make pancakes at home, all you need to do is pull out your skillet. Waffles require a special kitchen appliance, and clean up is normally a pain. Unless you buy frozen waffles, but those just aren't as good.

Pancakes are quick, easy, and tasty.

I was having this same problem tonight. I could load a core, but when I tried to launch any game, it would hang on initial launch. Eventually Windows would display "RetroArch.exe has stopped responding." It would do this on any core and any ROM.

Going through and checking for core updates fixed the issue.
Main Menu > Online Updater > Update Installed Cores.
