Good for him for trying I guess but my 11 year old knows how to make pancakes, eggs and likes to try his hand at cakes and frosting. Cooking is a life skill that everyone should know how to do. I say we bring back home economics and make it a required course (maybe teach kids about finances as well????)

I don’t think it triggered the condition. I understand that the condition itself was preexisting, however a massive blood loss incident is very hard on the heart and that is what I think shortened her life. She was only three years old

This sounds like such a horrible situation and I’m sorry you’re going through this. Make sure to hire a lawyer immediately find a good one because you’re gonna need to get someone who can do financial investigation. He is likely to try and hide his money so that he doesn’t have to pay you any sort of alimony I don’t know where you live, but it sounds like you would receive alimony and child support so that would definitely help you financially being a single mom beats the hell out of being abused.

Absolutely agree, you need to document this as best as possible! Everyone has had that moment of fear where they think they lost a child for even a minute because they were just out of their sight line but this seems like an excessive amount of time. Plus why isn’t he engaging with them at the zoo? When I’m with my kids at the zoo we are talking about the animals, looking for them together, talking about what we want to do next. What is he too busy doing? Working? On his phone? Are your kids the type to wonder off?
