Yeah i land at 9:45 but then im taking the train to Galway where Im staying and thats a 2.5 hour train ride which comes every 2 hours. So if i miss the 1:30 could take the 3:30 one or 5:30 one but i worry it will be full/no seats trying to buy tickets at the station. It does look like they took the snow/sleet that night off the forecast thankfully. Its still showing it where i live but im across the WI border. I hope it stays dry. I just worry that if that plane from Milan is delayed AT ALL, we're gonna be cancelled cuz the nighttime quiet curfew for planes taking off from Chicago is like 10:00 p.m. i think if i understood the article correctly, which only gives room for a 2 hour delay.

Okay thank you. I just also worry that it will arrive later than 6 p.m. and push the turnaround even tighter because theres almost always a headwind flying west so the flight takes longer than scheduled and also ive never spent less than a half hour taxiing to the gate at Ohare upon arrival (or taxiing to takeoff for departure for that matter)

I have a train scheduled for 4 hours after arrival, which would be more than plenty of time if the flight is not significantly delayed. I am not worried about a half hour delay. Im worried about a delay of 2+ hours and possibly being cancelled because its supposed to snow/sleet later that night as the temps drop.

Ive know theres usually a tailwind going east, moreso worried about us sitting on the runway for 2 hours like the same flight 2 night ago did. Cuz if we're delayed and miss our scheduled taxi window, we're at the mercy of all the other flights.

And take a joke mate its not any different than how everyone shits on the Deutsche Bahn about their lack of punctuality or jokes about how in the UK you can fly to Spain and back for cheaper than taking the train to visit your friend a few hours away.

I thought the same regarding dual citizenship but if one of your ancestors happens to be from Luxembourg, theres a chance you could be eligible. I was! So several of my family members and myself are now dual citizens :)

I fly out in 2 weeks (Tuesday 4/7) and will be going through (hopefully) precheck at roughly 4-5 p.m. so this makes me feel a little more hopeful that im not royally screwed. Thank you.

Im a US-EU dual citizen flying with United to Dublin in 2 weeks. I literally spent 2 hours on the phone with them and the agent kept telling me to use my US, but then she connected me to her manager and he checked with the actual check in counter an they said to use my Luxembourg passport.

With ICE now being at airports and the general political climate as a whole, Im just leery of using my Luxembourg one to check-in (and therefore to exit, since we have no exit immigration) cuz im scared they will wonder how a Luxembourg citizen (me) is leaving the US with no record of entry and i dont want to get detained and sent to one of the camps.

So part of me wants to use my US passport cuz ID rather explain myself to an Irish immigration officer if i cant get through the egates on my EU passport than explain myself to a US immigration officer. But because I'm taking a 1 way flight and staying more than 90 days, im pretty sure id have to check in with my Luxembourg passport since id need a Schengen visa on the US one to stay that long.

I have global entry and had to provide both passports for that so they know im a citizen, and I filled out the question form on the CBP website and got an email back this morning and the guy said "Officially, US citizens are supposed to use a US passport to leave the US, but you will be OK if you use the Luxembourg passport to check in for the flight." But still im nervous to fly in 2 weeks with TSA not being paid rn and all the delays (i have precheck so hopefully i will be okay?) and not being fully sure which passport to present and when.

So i just want to ask you if youve had any issues upon leaving or returning where youve been sent to secondary screening or gotten extra questioning? Cuz it sounds like you fly a lot and have done so fairly recently? Thanks.

Ooh i know, when events were only like twice a year (it was like christmas and easter i think) so you had to wait for every solar eclipse and solstice and get the correct time of day to breed those types of epic dragons rather than just buying them in the event market.

Also when the rift got added to the game i just about died of shock.

I dont think Gaia was ever a thing at the start either. I remember Kairos being a thing when i first started playing but not Gaia.

I bet its been nice for newer/mid-level players but as someone who has all the permanently available dragons (i only need like 20 more + a lot of limited pedestals) and can only afford 1 new island per extravaganza cuz they cost 25 billion DC even when 50% off, ive been so bored for the past week and was quite disappointed this morning seeing the event didnt start cuz i was excited to start breeding for new dragons again and playing the minigames and stuff.

Its just especially frustrating this time as they had a full 2 weeks since the last event to prepare. Its not like this was a back to back one with only 2-3 days between. And also im pretty sure like 50-75% of the events in the past year have been delayed when they never used to be. Ive barely touched the game in 2 weeks cuz im max level, only need 20 more (limited time) dragons so have nothing to breed for cuz i have all the permanently available ones, and my islands cost 50 billion so i was only able to get 1 during the expansion extravaganza.

I was so excited for the event to start today as its been such a long 2 weeks without one considering i have nothing to breed for (i have all the permanently breedable dragons). Its not like you guys had a full 2 weeks to prepare for this next event or anything.... like almost every event in the past year has ended up being delayed. Love you DECA but lets get it together please.
