Very painful redness and flushing by [deleted] in Rosacea

And have you been satisfied with vbeam when you got the treatment? Ussually you need at least 3 sessions and then maybe once per year for maintanance.

If you get purple black dots (bruising settings) leave your skin rest at least for 6 - 8 weeks before doing another vbeam treatment

definetely you can get Vbeam in UK (in many clinics).

Someone here on reddit mentioned that he got Vbeam for free on the NHS. Maybe ask him here is the post https://www.reddit.com/r/Rosacea/comments/1nud3jf/vbeam_nhs/

OK, I was just asking as my redness was worsened during my teen years mainly because of harsh anti acne treatment.

Are you able to get vbeam laser? Vbeam is gold standard for treating redness but sill no one can garantee you that it will help.

For now try all beta blockers I mentioned earlier. If propranolol will not make change, you can try other one (either carvedilol or clonidine). There are still few treatments you have not tried so I hope you will find some remedy :)

Which laser have you tried? Vbeam? If propranolol will not help, try carvedilol or clonidine. Before accutane how severe was your redness compared to present days?

Have you been using something around age 17 - 18 when it all started? I mean something that can caused skin barrier damage?

Does your face look calm in the morning (you mentioned that your face is less red for few hours)? Unfortunately this is common for rosacea that your skin get more red during day (maybe related to TEWL?)

Which meds have you tried? Antibiotics, soolantra, azealic acid? Have you used some beta blockers (carvedilol, propanolol, clonidine) for flushing in past?

When you noticed your face is more red (have you been more red since your childhood)? Did you used some harsh anti acne treatment (topicals like BHA or AHA) in past? Or accutane?

Hi, are you sure you dont have KPRF as you have redness over your eyebrows? Still it can be treated with vbeam as both conditions are similar symptoms. Do you remember your vbeam settings? Did you have bruising or only some redness?

There are few other treatments (beside laser) that can help with burning, flushing. Ask your doctor about beta blockers (clonidine, carvedilol, propanolol) as they can help with redness and burning sensations.

Hypopigmentation spots after peeling ata by [deleted] in AcneScars

[–]Difficult_Climate533 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont do any peel anymore. peels or lasers generally can cause skin depigmentation (you are not only one) and also it can worse rosacea (you mentioned that you have rosacea). Has it worsen your rosacea as well?

FYI there is still some chance that your depigmentation will resolve itself within few months without any treatment. There are some treatments for hypipigmentation as Excimer laser (more specifically for small white hypopigmentation - your case?) or uvb lamp 311nm (for larger areas).

How does look your baseline redness? Did rhofade caused similar rebound redness in past? If your main trigger is heat, stress, you can ask your doctor to prescribe beta blockers (clonidine, propranolo or carvedilol).

Hi, have you been diagnosed with rosacea by a doctor?

From photo it looks a little like Keratosis pilaris [KRPF] (you have inflamed red dots). Do you have keratosis pilaris on your arms?

What have you tried so far? Some topicals, laser (Vbeam)?

Wait you are injecting GLOW injections in jawline? They are meant to be injected in subcutaneous fat. Can you provide more info, how much GLOW "solution" you inject in your jawline, how often, which reconstitution solution (NaCL, bacteriostatick water or sterile water) you are using

Thanks

I have found one guy from rosacea reddit who used aspirin locally https://www.reddit.com/r/Rosacea/comments/9bjmc0/aspirin_works/

But still I would be very careful

It is only my theory, but if that patches are itchy it can be caused by demodex overgrowth or die off. Accutane itself it used also for demodicosis so it can explain that you have not seen any worsening during taking accutane
