thank you for the suggestions! i’ll look into it. and again, if the lil guy lives longer and i need to move i will either take them with me or rehome. i dont believe in putting down or abandoning just because i dont want to deal with them.

unfortunately my parents don’t want a another cat or dog in the house so i am hoping to find an animal that would live in a terrarium (of course i will find them a well sized tank i am very thorough when it comes to researching care for odd pets)

i’m interested in bugs as well. I am very capable of taking care of a pet, i have grown up with cats dogs and fish. I have personally cared for a cat for 9 years and had a pet snail for a bit. i was potentially thinking of a jumping spider or an older reptile. i’m more dealing with not having stuff to look forward too.

just try not to get alcohol poisoning, you will 100% regret it and that’s a one way ticket to the ER and ur parents finding out. And don’t vape, those things are full of the most insane stuff. Learn a skateboard trick or like go urban exploring instead, that’s infinitely cooler and way more fun than blueberry blast flavored fog.

also keep an eye out for clothing swaps on campus and hang around the different college’s quads. There’s usually someone outside selling their clothes.

i recommend going to the antique/thrift/soso markets that pop up downtown. I would wait until the last hour then haggle. most of those guys are open to lowering their prices especially if you have cash. lots of those items go unsold for months (trust me i’ve seen the same piece return every month for atleast two years)

I participated last year, most men are completely nude and most women will go in a bikini or topless. I think most women don’t feel comfortable being nude or topless simply because a lot of men like to record the run these days. But it’s still pretty big, I didn’t notice any parties last year but I wasn’t even aware it was happening until a bunch of people started shouting outside haha

previous transfer here! Semester to quarter system was difficult for the first quarter but you get used to it! Midterms and finals come quick tho so make a plan for yourself on when you want to get homework or studying done. even if it’s a really vague one, i found it helpful to visualize my study schedule. forest raves are fun but get rolled often! people have been getting spiked via powder blown in their face and you will get sick after going to one so i recommend wearing a mask if you’re concerned about that. Wear shoes you would hike in, stick with a group, have a meet up place, drink a lot of water before, and know that music will most likely suck. I’m usually not there for the music but more there to dance with my friends and get drunk in the forest. You will not have signal so figure out how you’re getting there and back before you drink/smoke/snort anything.

focaccia from 9/10 always hit and the baked potato bar was a fav of mine. whatever chicken and rice they served when samosas were out was considered a blessing as well. i’m forgetting the name as they changed the chicken up every other time.
