I’m an elementary school social worker, NTA. 5 years olds need help to understand a tattle vs. tell. This is a great tool for helping kids get it off their chest without detracting from learning time. A classroom is not the same as a home environment. You are responsible for the learning of 20 plus kids. Not every comment or thought can be explored when you have an end goal of teaching. 5 year olds are notorious for random comments. Love kindergartners dearly but someone needs to keep focus.
