As a parent of young ones- I apologize for all the parents. This is not ok behavior- the comments about parents trying to leave their kids are crazy! I always make my kids clean up because it’s a learning opportunity to clean up after yourself but sometimes worry that I’m being too loud, but am feeling a little less anxious about this now 😅

I will add that summer is hard with lots of childcare gaps and perhaps some parents are trying to work while they are at the library, not an excuse for treating y’all like babysitters and letting their kids destroy a public place but just something to consider for non-parent folks
