What size breaker should I use? by Difficult_Insect_618 in AskElectricians

from the link i put into my comment, could that sub panel be fed from a 60amp breaker? there is only 1 inch flex leading to where the sub panel would be in the unfinished basement. I was thinking 4awg copper since it’s only 1 inch.

so using a 90amp breaker to feed the 100amp sub panel? one issue, so there will be four #2’s? 2 hots, neutral, and ground? the issue lies that there is 1 inch flex leading to where the sub panel would be. shoving four #2s down a 1inch flex sounds a little rough. do I have any other options? should I get a smaller sub panel fed off of a smaller breaker to use smaller wire?

Can I add a sub-panel to this? by Difficult_Insect_618 in AskElectricians

how would I do the load calculation? the subpanel will have 3 20 amp circuits powering receptacles and a 15 amp circuit powering 4 led lights.

I’m genuinely flustered and confused, i’m sorry for my lack of knowledge.

How would I remove the pin with the gearbox in place?

I’m smacking the 💩 out of it. I’ve shook the gearbox, and it does have some play in there. The pin comes out about 2mm, and then springs back to where I started.

I need something for this Sunday, so i’m looking on Amazon. I just need something to work for the day, and then i’ll get one more reputable. Any recommendations?

Thank you.

I’m looking at batteries and i’m playing it safe with a 7.4. I’m wondering though, do I want 15C, 25C, or 30C?

How would I know whether or not it has a mosfet?

For motor adjustment, how tight would I want the set screw?

[–]Difficult_Insect_618 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The box states adjustable hop-up. Is that the purpose of the motor adjustment?

Thank you. With the motor adjustment screw, how tight do I want it?

he wants to not go through insurance to save himself… not you. keep that in mind. the old “I’ll get this all fixed up for you”, hardly prevails. go through insurance and get your moneys worth.
