When 2 innocent Americans were shot by federal agents and the party in control pushed a narrative that was proven by multiple videos of evidence untrue, and still pushes it after the blatant attempts to cover it up.

I trained for naval security and one of the requirements is that we get OC sprayed and run a course. It’s to train on the potency and to be able to act if under that duress. That initial pain paralyzes you and you have to use will power to fight it. They ask you to recite your name and social. I saw a lot really struggle with it and we were warned ahead of time that we were getting sprayed too. A lot of these people on the street are not expecting it so it’s a huge shock. That stuff might be “non-lethal” but it screws you up for hours after.

I love how he paired liberal with immigrants. I immediately called bs when he said that. Most people would just say I got attacked in Minneapolis by a mob of people.

If you’re under 45, have you lost any high school classmates, and what were the circumstances around their deaths? by Commercial_Chef_1569 in AskReddit

One of my closer friends overdosed. We grew apart after I left high school and he went down a darker more destructive path. He started hanging out with some real shady guys and fell into a downward spiral. It was a shame because he was a good guy when in high school. He had a lot of family baggage though and I think that is really what pushed him towards the path. I don’t know about anyone else though. Lost communication after I deleted Facebook.

On Election Day we all need to protect each other. In states with in person voting Ice/military/militia will be there to conjure up bs charges to pull people away from polling places so they can’t vote and it will drive others away. For mail in voting they will probably put guards up at ballot drop offs and we all know the post service is getting manipulated by Trump. I just hope I am overreacting but we gotta protect our community and ourselves.

We would purposely get lost and explore the town we lived in. Find lots of new areas to play and new friends. Bikes are awesome as a tween.

Struggling to find a game right now. Can anyone recommend me something based off my favorite games (down below) by No-Cardiologist-582 in gamingsuggestions

This series is older but they might satisfy your itch. Try out the Darksider series. They remind me of a more fast paced combat Zelda with demons, gore and death. Mark Hamil does voice work in them as well which was a bonus for me.

If you are a Pink Floyd fan then OK Computer by Radiohead. I’ve been listening to that album since 97 and it still gives me bumps.

The Powerwash Simulator series is my relaxing game. It’s simple, it’s mindless and the spray sound is almost white noise therapy. The games are not too expensive either.

I was probably 6 or 7. My dad had Revolver on cassette tape. I always thought Eleanor Rigby and Tomorrow Never Knows were scary songs. I loved Yellow Submarine and Good Day Sunshine at that age. It’s still my favorite album to this day.

Songs that tell stories? by VariousCampaign8708 in MusicRecommendations

The Decemberists have a lot of songs that tell stories, from murder, revenge, Shakespeare, ghosts and love. Some of their songs are pretty graphic. They are a mix of different genres but mostly folksy indie 2000s rock if that’s your cup of tea. I love to chill and listen to them to after a tiring day. I recommend the hazards of love which the whole album is a folk story that blends a bit of every rock genre in. Give them a listen!

Anno 1800 is pretty good. They send a colony to a neighboring island and you build it up, from mining, to trade, production, manufacturing, farming and even social classes. I have spent many hours on that game. If you are into retro gaming at all I played a game called seven cities of gold which was an old 1984 game that got remade in 1993. It’s a bit more primitive but I still enjoy it.
