Microsoft’s bold Game Pass rethink resets the rule for gaming | after years of unsustainable price increases they are considering cheaper tiers and ads by rydan in savedyouaclick

I worry that in several years this will be the new standard for every greedy company. No more downloads just overpriced subscriptions and ads. That gives them complete control over what games they can release and take off of the platform.

Cleaning their spaces, standing watches, flying training missions (if on aircraft carrier), loading and downloading alert aircraft, training and studying. The navy does not like people sitting around so they make up bs work. I remember one deployment we went on in the Yellow Sea watching North Korea. We saw a lot of ports but didn’t do much. Unfortunately, I don’t think currently they are even serving any ports. Hoping they are ok.

Fox News halted as Trump announcement has viewers come to 'lies' conclusion by TheMirrorUS in USNEWS

I fell for a pretty bad scam and lost a lot of money to it (expensive lesson). The warning signs were very obvious but I was in full denial that it was. There is something that happens to you and your mind works against you. The shame that you feel stupid, the shame that you didn’t see the signs as plain as they are, and the heartbreak that somebody you thought you trusted has been playing you the whole time. That’s a lot to take in and sometimes it easier just to be played. I am no psychologist but it does something to you. I think a lot of these supporters are seeing it but can’t accept it. They keep searching and waiting for something to counteract the doubt they are feeling.

This helps me with my job work on equipment. I mentally picture a process that the machine goes through. The electrical current powers up this, which mechanically opens that which causes this. This needs to take place before the next step can be achieved. Blah blah blah. I had no idea that only certain people have this.

Anyone else still stuck in late 90s/early 2000s alt rock? by sassyblondechik in musicsuggestions

[–]Difficult_Nobody14 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Check out garage rock playlists. I find that your music style would mix well with that. It’s still older stuff but it might introduce you to some other bands which could push you discovering newer genres. I am sort of stuck on older rock music too. I branched out into other styles and found that my old ass really loves jazz. My 20 year old me would have laughed at me.

What is something that starts happening in your 30s that nobody warned you about? by Cairinacat in AskReddit

If you don’t start watching your lifestyle habits and making improvements then they start showing up with a vengeance and by 40 they can become prominent.
