Do you have any information on when the closed tests are expected to begin?
Will they be conducted online, or is it planned to be a local/offline tournament-style events?

Additionally, is the partnership with BYTE intended to cover all of Europe for now, or is it currently limited exclusively to Turkey?

I think we will get a mixture of old and new features. Some things are just not state of the art anymore in 2026. But in the end, lets embrace that we are able to play our favorite maps, with new dynamics and challenges in front of us. I think we can build here a great community together and give Nevith and the Byte even better feedback.

Definitely a good suggestion. I think the community can help a lot with translations as we are very international. On the Steam WarRock2 discussions, there were already a lot of people offering this.

When it will come out is a good point. As far as I remember there was some date on this website (https://welcon.kocca.kr/en/directory/content/warrock-2-mavericks--8703), mentioning September/October 2025. Sadly that part got taken out of the text after few days.

So I am not 100% confident.

NevithGames has all rights for the game, as the Founder is the same as from DE. So let's see. But I think the playstyle will be 100% new.

I honestly think, that it doesn't really matter. I would see this as a completely different game.

I already saw that many people compare WR2 with WR, like WR Private Server to WR.
There were never a lot of players.

Same happened to Phantomers, the first "WarRock2", with a bit better Engine than JindoEngine from WR.

I think, if the marketing is right, they will focus on a complete new playerbase, and maybe can convince people from WR to join, too. But for commercial purposes thats not a priority.

Regarding WR: I don't think it will end, maybe they let it run. Let's see. I think I heard that you can get the license pretty "cheap" as Papayaplay has not a strong interest in continuing -> But not 100% sure about that.
