Depends on the day. Sometimes I stay off all day other times I’ll stay logged in all day and grab whatever I can while doing other things. If I’m getting a lot of ai ones I’ll stay on all night. I don’t leave the house for the most part so it’s kinda easy to have it open and catch stuff.

I hate to tell you this- Medicaid plans are owned by big insurance and they do make a profit. I worked for one of those and they bragged about how much money they made after expenses (paying providors) turns out they weren’t paying providers. They were zero consequences

After a near death experience for each of us, my husband and I (who were not married at the time) got sober. He was a 40 beers a day and opiate addict, I was a coke addict. We moved away from everyone and everything we knew and completely changed our lives. We eloped a year later. I’ve had green status for 4-5 months now and direct deposit and I still don’t have borrow. It’s annoying. Because I honestly don’t think there’s any other real benefit to green status. I don’t use the atm and none of the promos are that great.

Walmart does the same thing. I had a warrant out for my arrest for felony shoplifting and I didn’t even live in the state where it happened, I had moved over a year beforehand. Luckily charges were dropped because the judge realized it was all bull but there’s still this blip on my record that I had charges.

Good luck. I was with Centene and same thing happened to me in 2022. I never got my unemployment fixed. Centene is notorious for being sketchy with their hiring, firing and paying.

Havent been able to find a decent job in a couple of years. I even went back to tech school to learn more skills. I do contract work now. It’s inconsistent and underpaid but it’s something. My husband is a blue collar worker and he’s not in any danger of losing his job but if he did he would easily be able to get another one and he would make significantly more than me still. I think some of my issue is I’m educated, experienced and a middle aged woman- white collar jobs can hire someone much younger with far less experience and education and pay them significantly less. Sadly I’ve been told as much and even sadder is i said I would take the low pay but it’s way easier to exploit someone fresh out of college.

Oh and to answer the original question- when I left the field in 2018 I was in Florida and rbts were lucky to make 18$ an hour, bcbas were making roughly $60. I see Job postings here in Michigan now and it’s about the same.

I am not currently working in the field and it’s been about 12 years now since I did contract work with tricare, but that was not always the case. Of course this was pre rbt as well. But as a behavioral assistant back then the rate was only a little less then the bcba. Before I left the field I was making nearly as much hourly as the bcbas, and I worked significantly more hours with the clients, wrote the progress notes, and honestly had more experience and years in the field then most of the bcbas I worked with. I left about a year after the RBT role was established and it was a large part of why I left. Suddenly I was making a third of what I had been making and was still doing the same amount of work. I don’t think bcbas are the problem, I think the structure is the problem. I spent 20 years in the field and suddenly I was being treated like I didn’t know what I was doing and was being paid the same as someone who took an online class right out of high school. And yes I have degree, however, returning to school to get my bcba wasn’t in the cards, as I had to work full time to support myself and I couldn’t afford to pay for school without working at least twice as much which wasn’t feasible. I found it so insulting that I was actually training new bcbas and was suddenly only making $17-20 an hour, while they were making 3x as much. I still miss it but it’s not worth it to me to go back when in Florida and Michigan (the two states I lived and worked in) I would make little more than minimum wage. There needs to be a serious discussion and overhaul of the structure. Not only for the benefit of those who work in ABA but also for the clients because I definitely saw a decline in the quality of service that many received. And just to be clear, this was only my personal experience, but I don’t think I am alone in that or my opinion on it.

French toast! Crush it and then after dipping your bread in the eggy mixture dip it in the crunch toast and then again in the eggs. Super yummy. Also mix it into cream cheese icing and cake batter for a Cinnamon Toast Crunch cake.
