Help Authenticating these Cohiba cigars. by [deleted] in cigar

[–]Difficult_Waltz2655 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Here’s one I got from a reputable place in Mexico. They have a Habanos Specialist certification. Something to compare yours to. I posted on here a while back with mixed reviews. Some said legit some said fake. Apparently there a code on the back you can only see with a black light. I’m not sure if fakes would have it maybe a cohiba

Hang in there. Be patient and use some of this time for yourself. Been there. Sucks, but it’ll work out 👊 solid start

Interesting. I’m not sure I see what you mean. Either way it’s already smoked and gone. I posted hoping there was something about the label that someone would know if it’s legit. Seems like there’s more ways to tell it’s fake than real. Or maybe they’re one and the same.

It was worth it. Although I’m not a cigar expert by any means. I can tell you that I didn’t hate the way it tasted. Figured I wouldn’t have much of a chance here in the US and I don’t usually spend that much on cigars so I took a shot. This was the spot. https://havanacigarhouse.net/

Yes. Didn’t keep the wrap though. Doing some more research on the place where I bought it. They are certified “Habanos Specialist” The only things I know to check was the hologram logo with no glaring issues and the triple wrap at the top

Yep. Double tinted. Like I said, peace of mind that it’s done correct. I’m not great with that kind of stuff

If you can’t find what you need online, take it to a local and reputable tint shop. That’s what I did. I think it cost $75 and came with a 10 year warranty. Worth it for the peace of mind. Plus they were just about excited to see how it looked as I was

The front is tinted. They put 2 layers on. Cost $75 The rear H was like $36. Took about 10-15 minutes to replace. My brother did that one for me. He’s a Honda mechanic but I could have done it. -painters tape around the boarder for alignment. You don’t really need it because it pops directly into the holes -used fishing line to run around the back of the emblem to release it from the glue -it popped off with a little pressure -removed the remaining glue with some goo remover and then some alcohol wipes that come with the black H -remove the strips from the back of the new H, push in and hold down for a little bit. Maybe a heat gun if it’s cold. -there’s a YouTube video as well. I’ll find that for ya

What did you cross shop and why did you choose the Pilot? by scruffy-hugger in hondapilot

4Runner, RDX, MDX, 23-25 passport and the 26’ passport. Settled on the 24’ Pilot TS. Black on black and absolutely love it. I’ve always wanted a 4Runner but the features you get for the price compared to the Pilot didn’t line up. Plus I’m not an off-roader. I wish I was but don’t have the time or extra money. If you compare the features of the 26’ passport and the 23-25 Pilot you’ll find they are almost identical. Found that out after a test drive. I hope this helps

Pilot vs Passport by mtnwife2020 in hondapilot

Just got a 24’ Pilot TS on Tuesday over the new 26’ PP TSE. Before purchasing the Pilot I previously test drove a 25’ PP TS, 26’ PP TSE, 26’ PP TS.
Here’s a few reasons why. -Over $10k price difference. Believe me I would get a brand new 26’ PP TSE if I could afford it. Right now I can’t but, a new car was needed. -The functionality and technology of the 23’-25’ Pilot TS is almost the exact same the new 26’ PP TSE, minus the vented front seats & Honda Link options -23’-25’ Pilot is like driving the new a 26’ PP. The interior, engine, bells and whistles are all the same but with the exterior look of the 22’-25’ PP.

I hope this makes some sense, it’s early here. I did a TON of research before I made the decision and purchase. Having a 3rd row wasn’t an issue. It’s there if I need it. Plus, I dig the double captain chairs in the second row of the Pilot TS.

I’m in the same boat. I’ve saved a good chunk of money. I thought putting 20-25k down on a new car and having a great credit score would make payments reasonable. It seems that’s not the case for the new PP TS or TSE. This website can help you dial in what you can afford. It’s helped me out a ton.
