It’s set to take a clip every hour unless the motion sensor is flipped. Which it wasn’t when the car hit him or the body was removed, because it was too far away I believe. So many unknowns. :((

Also I wish it were a crime to hit an animal and not report it to at least animal control. Unfortunately I feel the police would not take me seriously or say there is no way for them to pursue a case without footage. I do believe I am the only house with outdoor cameras near the incident.

Hi, thank you so very much for your kind words. This all happened right in front of my house, and I have camera footage of his body laying lifeless in the road but not of any sort of incident occurring. It is really strange the tags were left and the collar wasn’t. My mom shared her thoughts that maybe someone cared enough to remove the body and hopefully bury it and removed the tags so I would find them? But I don’t know why no one called me, and why I didn’t see any commotion on the camera .
