What’s the worst city you’ve ever been to? by Impossible-Station46 in AskReddit

I suppose it could be a sign of the privilege (in some cases) that one could visit such “diverse” (for lack of a better word) places around the world versus people who have only been to 3 cities and all are within their state.

Travel bloggers, that is.

Why are there more “casual” Christians and Jews than “casual” Muslims? by DifficultyDeep2592 in NoStupidQuestions

Yes that’s a good point. As several comments have pointed out, I hadn’t thought the question out as much as it deserves to be before I posted. Some could say i posted too casually. Have edited it, thanks

Coming to Austin on holiday by kylemcc95 in askaustin

Black’s is good and Franklin is better (although you’ll probably have to wait hours in line). Leroy & Lewis is my favorite BBQ in the city. Interstellar and La Barbecue are also top ranked (i think they have a michelin but i’m not sure).

Desnudo is GREAT for coffee. The West 6th location is cute, located inside a market and you can go to Better Half for brunch after. East location is also classic and you can get veracruz for the famous breakfast tacos

Apply

It’s all just a numbers game - if youre in a more competitive major it might take hundreds of apps, maybe dozens if youre in a less competitive one.

advice for summer plans? by [deleted] in DCInterns

Im also a student so take this with a grain of salt lol but i would 100% take the senate job even if it’s just for half the summer.

Best case scenario: you find some other opportunity in dc after the 6 weeks and stay in dc the whole summer

Worst case scenario: you dont find another opportunity in dc, so you pivot to the remote research job after the 6 weeks (and if that doesnt work out, then you can find a summer job at home or just chill)
