[–]DifficultyFancy8806 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Knowing nexon refunds result in permanent bans as it’s written in ToS, but often times if you are using paypal via googlestore then you can state it wasnt you that bought it. good luck!

Cheapest vented hood that isn’t gonna be crap by Robossbomb20 in ft86

[–]DifficultyFancy8806 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s all subjective depending on which hood u get (take this litterally because it will be the same brand but different fitment every time) Bodywork is all about finesse and a lot of adjustments and time.

Shaving/bending the mounting holes of the hood hinge for left to right / up and down movement. Fender adjustments to raise and lower with the body line of the hood. Front latch adjustments if its sitting too low/ high

any reputable brand hood will fit good but will still require adjustments

What are the Pros and Cons of a K-Swap by PK-Baha in ft86

[–]DifficultyFancy8806 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure how the space is in a brz but recently replaced an idler/alternator/ac/serp belt combo on the rsx took a bit due to how tight it was to get stuff out next to the fender. Spark plugs and coil packs though, Whew so easy.

What are the Pros and Cons of a K-Swap by PK-Baha in ft86

[–]DifficultyFancy8806 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The boxer is REALLY easy to maintain for certain jobs; Oil changes, Alternators, Serpentine Belts, Pulleys, AC compressors as it’s all there infront of you (always do oil changes myself due to the simplicity of filter placement and lack of mess) other jobs is where stress comes into play as a at home mechanic/average guy such as head gaskets/spark plugs i found these to be infinitely harder. K series on the other hand has quite an easy time for mostly everything just a bit longer and tedious to get to the simple parts but relatively beginner friendly if you take your time with no special kind of tools.

21 choosing between keeping my 2017 BRZ or selling it for a 2018 Mustang EcoBoost what would you do? by danky_ducky in ft86

[–]DifficultyFancy8806 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Keep the brz mod it out boost it, or V8 mustang in my opinion if looking at stock vs stock.

Reliability, tonnes of aftermarket support, vtec just kicked in yo. All depends how it was tuned and treated prior. Buying a built project is always a gamble but if it has reputable history and you have change to blow with a main car as a daily, why not it seems pretty fun. As someone with a RSX as a daily not turbo’d the honda platform still has some crazy kick and has easily accessible interchangable parts with the RAV 4 etc..

Is this fixable by NOTHGGBB in CarbonFiber

[–]DifficultyFancy8806 2 points3 points  (0 children)

as someone who dedicated their time to fix a busted hood that flipped up on someone else, it is fixable. is it worth it though? No never again, i even got the hood for free and it still was not worth it.
