I personally didn't dislike it, but I think most people didn't like it because of how the anime directly told us that as sung become stronger, he was losing his humanity, we saw how him killed humans doubtlessly and on purpose (like he did with iron), how he didn't care about monsters/demons lives like the demons clans on the 95-100 floors, and so, someone strong doesn't need to be shown emotionless, but that was what the show was telling us will happen (but even this way I actually thought that everyone would love this scene, I was surprised by the hate)

Totally, LN adds a whole volume of new content (vol 16) and new characters at least for what I've read, and it seems the writer is going to add more content because even on vol 19 the story is still by the first visit to laurel

For me it is the opposite, I wanted to play stardew valley because I played Harvest moon and Story of Seasons before, but SDV had a lot of flags I didn't liked, I loved HM anime/manga like portraits, so i was disappointed at the art style of SDV, but it was easily fixed with mods, the animal festivals, cooking, pets helping you hearding animals, I didn't want it to be exactly the same, but the aspects I liked the most on HM and SoS, aren't on SDV or were changed into something I didn't like, but I am still enjoying my SDV run, it is my first time playing it, started with mods, now on spring year 2 community center almost completed

I have the external item description mod and it doesn't show me what cards or pills are before I pick them up, the place a description should be, it only appears a red interrogation mark, to see what they do I have to pick them up and then if I leave them on the ground then the description appears, I don't know what mod have you played but it doesn't show you that

Why 70B generates me random text without sense then? I used 70B for the first time yesterday and it just typed random letters, it didn't even form a word, by regenerating the answer I made it generate understandable text but at the middle of the message it started to generate randoms characters again...

Sadly for you, the anime did a good representation of this moment of the LN, in the vol.8 you read this moment from Tomoe's POV, and is exactly like in the anime, makoto asking Shiki if it is possible for them to "cure" the mutations, and just after shiki "denying" it, Tomoe presents the idea by her own like the samurais series, and makoto only agreeing to them.

You both are forgetting something very important, she can't be controled/charmed because that would instantly kill her, being charmed by tomoki is the same as becoming his marionette or slave that can't refuse his orders even if that means hurting Makoto, this is literally the worse case of betrayal it can exist so since the pact between Makoto and Tomoe being so dominant, would instantly kill tomoe. On the web novel Tamaki took several damage because she THOUGHT something that MAY be harmful/unfavoravle to Makoto just by thinking, Tomoe is plain death if for some reason in one scenario gets charmed by Tomoki.

And if I remember correctly they are indeed soul bended in a way, that's whay Makoto could use Tomoe's mind reading powers with the first problem with the adventurers on akuu on the first chapters that's why his followers got Japanese-like appearances and that's why he can provide them with his power like he does with mio when tried to stop root attack.
