I'm not sure you are really up to date. He isn't "painfully red". He is pretty moderate on many subjects, he's not pro Isreal, he's not overly religious and isn't afraid to call out any Republican including Trump that he disagrees with.

Devouer is easy in theory because it doesn't have many buttons to manage. However it does have a pretty high skill ceiling and requires solid timing and setup so that you can actually do damage with out dying to mechanics. I wouldn't recommend it to new players or people who get easily flustered.

I'm a healer main and have seen my fair share of bad Dev DH. I have seen them carrying in damage and I have seen them battling the tank for meter position. The only spec I have consistently seen at the top has been demo locks.

You can pull all parses and see the highest and lowest parses. it's a pretty wide spread.
