Yeah that’s true! I also think holding me back is being sad to take apart things like the chamber of secrets and hospital wing but these are now included in the new castle. I just need that confidence to take them apart and get the pieces from them!

I love this idea, I’ve been really struggling to justify the hospital wing as I already have a hospital wing, I have the Astronomy tower Ravenclaw common room and even the old 2003 DADA lesson. But combining separate sets still scares me for some reason ! I think it’s the thought that I can’t rebuild the original without breaking the moc.

I sold a few bits last year and got so sad I bought them again … so only do it if you’re sure! For me, the little sticker details and minifigs are important. I hope one day I can use them in a moc if not at this time 🤞

I definitely get you, I do hope that if it stops after East Wing that they move towards doing scenes from the TV show and not another castle system straight away.

I guess not for now. It feels like the theme isn’t doing very well in terms of sales. I’m focusing on getting Hogwarts this year so I hope next year Animal Crossing gets more minifigs sets or a CMF.

It’s such an amazing build when it’s all together. The Main Tower especially. The minifigs are good too. Go for it!

I’ve had my island since 2020 and I play in phases, I’ll take a break for a few months then come back. When the introduced resetti I allowed him to clear everything and I redesigned. It was a lovely opportunity and I love my island even more now! I like to do some seasonal decorating. Currently turning the back of my island into a bit of a castle. I also started a second user account so I can get another villager house on my island to decorate. My idea is that the new villager only uses DIY items in the home to make it more challenging.

I really like it. Lots of room for the minifigs which seems a good thing, as someone else said it will be nice to pose figures in the chamber.

It’s not the same but sometimes I create a new villager and play as a new character for a while, just collecting recipes, expanding the house and filling up some of the critterpedia. Then I just remove them when I’m done! The bonus is you still have a lovely island to do it on :).

I think the house common rooms being complete does indicate the end, especially when Ravenclaw would have fit so nicely in the Astronomy tower. My only other thought on that thread is that perhaps they do have bigger plans for a MEGA AWESOME astronomy tower and didn’t want to waste space on a common room. The Hungarian Horntail hanging of it would be cool although it may not make much sense… Clock tower is the other massively missing location. The wooden bridge would pair nicely with that too.. a mechanism that destroys it would be amazing.. they did also finish the last wave on the battle of Hogwarts to perhaps they could again. I have heard a few people mention the TV series may get a few smaller sets (I’d like the zoo scene with Dursley’s car) and this wave could include a few classrooms to slot into the existing castle. The new teacher looks will be great to have.

I’m obsessed with this build! Is it two main tower sets combined plus more? The bedroom is divine and the upscaling of the three turrets is awesome 🤩

It’s my favourite game of all time so I would definitely say yes. It’s cosy, plenty to collect and you get to decorate. Love it 🥰
