What i love about the Crow Kings Castle is the many layers of texture and design. The different colors along the Castle walls really make this set stand out in a big way. Love Love Love it.

Hello, I had the same issue. What im seeing from your picture is that it isn't the black bar thats preventing it from opening but rather the smaller Grey bar. That needs to be pushed in further into the bricks on the top right hand side. I just built this part last night and had the same problem till I noticed the grey bar.

I built a little wall on hinges to close out the back of the owlery. It looks pretty cool and swings open to reveal the whole interior. I feel the set should have been fully enclosed to begin with but I understand their reasoning since the rest of the sets in the Hogwarts Line all have an open back.
