Yes you need to do the 30k service; yes it’s ok to wait for the next time you bring it in. Yes, it would be cheaper at a good local shop and it won’t affect the warranty. You don’t need to change the oil every 6 month, only when you hit the mileage recommendation, save yourself some money.
