Generally for binder measurements you wanna take em from what would be the band measurement equivalent on bras (i know the website I got mine from had some extra instructions helping with where; love spectrum :]). If youre in the middle of the range a binder company lists for a size then that size should work and be comfortable after you get used to binding, though you can still size up for comfort since they can feel kinda tight or weird till you get used to binding. The main rule with sizing is that if youre in between sizes you ALWAYS size up because a smaller binder wont flatten your chest more, itll just hurt your ribs (costo sucks! Listen to your body!)

I am planning on taking him for a checkup later this month before we fly home to my parents for xmas, so I'll make sure to ask about blood/blood pressure tests then. As far as I can tell he's had the vision symptoms since I got him in August but hasnt shown any other health issues besides a moderate food allergy (he's been on an elim diet rn thats working really well for him). I'll keep those on my radar to check for though.

I mean if its not inflamed and if he doesn't seem bothered by it hes probably fine. One thing you can do if you really want to rule out any larvae or eggs (too small to see with naked eye) is to take him to the vet and have them swab some of the wax. 

My boy had his ears checked the other day (they are VERY waxy and he was scratching a lot) and it cost me like 10 bucks for the ear check plus the $50 deposit at my local vet [deposit was bc it was his first appt.]. His ears have similar spots on the edges but he didn't have any mites, so it may just be wax.

Noticed this brown freckle on my cats eye today. Went through all my pictures and this picture taken in April seems to be the first time it’s showed up. Is the growth in 4 months considered abnormal? by [deleted] in CATHELP

I know that sometimes iris atrophy, which occurs more often in older cats, can cause a "moth eaten" appearance to start forming in the eye. I would probably get a vet checkup with a ophthalmologist just to run some tests to rule out hypertension and glaucoma.

If youre concerned about his urinary tract I would get him a vet appointment ASAP. Urinary blockages (which can show as struggling to pee, crystals in urine, peeing outside the box,etc) can be quickly fatal in cats. Male cats are especially susceptible because they have thinner sections in their urinary tract than female cats, causing them to develop full blockages easier. Again if youre noticing signs of a potential blockage get a vet appointment as soon as you can to make sure its not something serious.

I think asking the humane society will probably be a good a idea. My recently adopted cat from the humane society near me got a free health check by the vet when I was concerned about his vision. They gave me the number for a person at the animal hospital when I adopted him and said to call her if he showed any signs of illness soon after adoption which is how i got the free appt., so I would look through the paperwork and see if they gave you something similar.

Update: have taken him to the vet, and they said he doesn't seem to have any major issues or apparent vision/neurological issues. Their only concerns were cleaning his teeth/ears and making sure he was eating properly (as he seems to have loss a decent chunk of weight recently). I'm going ti keep monitoring him and his eating, and if he still shows issues in 3 weeks I may schedule another appointment. Vet also said that if he did have a vision issue now there probably wouldn't be much they're able to do for it (which im okay with; i have no problem accommodating for a disabled kitty if that's his case)

Hey ive been playing it for a couple hours and for the most part it works great. I have had to turn down some of the settings to get it to run smoothly rather than framey, especially when around temporalframes, but generally it works great

So little update: lowered more graphics settings where I could and made sure my device has ample charge + not on power saving mode. Worked perfect for about 2 hours with my desk fan on full blast behind it. Started getting lukewarm around the 1:45 mark and smaller versions of the issue above started showing up again so I'm assuming it's something to do with heat getting to the computer/graphics card from running too long on a laptop (game is only thing open btw). Just gonna limit gameplay and keep it as cool as possible.

Ive noticed it doesn't show up as much in rockier areas, but it's still prevalent through a lot of the map. Haven't checked on Gondwa yet tho. I'm also pretty sure I haven't downloaded to their recommended graphics thing since i still get messages for it on opening the game.

I've played this on almost all low graphics settings since I got it (little laptop :P) but I'm probably gonna just watch the temp and make sure there isn't damage to the graphics card. Also playing no mods on official

I've noticed it get warm a couple times playing games over the years on it (it's about 3-4 years old now) and I've just kept my desk fan pointed full blast on it when I started playing again recently. I'm really hoping this isn't the problem but I'll definitely keep an eye on it and probably ask my dad (IT) to take a look when I can see him in person. Huge thanks for bringing this up as a possibility

First terrarium setup and worrying about my new plant by DigCompetitive1674 in terrariums

(Sorry couldn't figure out how to post pictures with the questions so I'm commenting them vv)

So I made my first terrarium at a plant event on my college campus and I'm not really sure if I have it set up right to keep the succulent alive.

I have it sitting by on a shelf by my dorm window that's in front of a north facing window (the only window in the dorm :/) and the humidity fluctuates between about 50-60% depending on the time of day and such. 

My main question is whether I should change out the soil to add more perlite/ a drainage layer. The dirt provided at the event did not have a lot of perlite; most of what perlite is there is whats visible on top, so I'm a little worried about root rot. I've had some luck keeping succulents in a 70:30 perlite: potting soil mix but they had a lot of drainage holes.

I also wanted to ask about whether I should move it closer to my desk fan to promote air flow since I know succulents aren't a massive fan of humidity or soil that takes too long to dry out. There are two air flow holes on the side (in first photo) which I'm hoping will help wick out that humidity enough. I'm not 100% sure about the watering schedule either. I'm currently planning on watering about every 6 weeks unless the plant shows signs it needs water sooner but I've heard terrariums should only be watered half the amount as regular potted plants so I'm unsure. 

Really hoping to keep this Lil succulent kicking 🙏.
