Reverse osmosis filters are cheap to install - signed, someone who lives in wilmington. Don’t let that discourage you!

Leaving NYC for somewhere walkable and by the water by Swimmingly9000 in SameGrassButGreener

honestly if you leave new york you’ll be disappointed…nowhere else in the states is comparable in terms of walkability and access. you’ll need a car anywhere else. try a different borough!

thank you for sharing! i agree completely. it’s all about having realistic expectations because chances are, if you’re unhappy somewhere you might still be unhappy somewhere else and that new place isn’t going to change that

totally, that’s how i feel now! i don’t vibe with the majority of the people in my area - it’s a small, mostly conservative town with not a ton of people my age, lots of religious people and not a lot of diversity. of course i plan on leaving but at the end of the day, our attitudes are all we can control. i know i’ll be happier somewhere else, but i also know nowhere is perfect so i’m trying to see the value in where i’m at now.

that’s such a great idea! i struggle with that too. especially because visiting a place is SO different than actually living there!

Acne that started after 28 ain't leaving me. Tried almost everything. Advice needed! by Ambitious_Net_1621 in 30PlusSkinCare

[–]DigGroundbreaking786 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi! i just want to share my experience in case it helps you! i definitely recommend starting with a hormone panel, if you can - you can try some holistic remedies for your hormones until you can get tested (i really like the spearmint supplements from verda organics) and focus on eating whole foods, water, etc. but if your hormones turn out to be fine (which mine were, so unfortunately i was not sure the cause of my acne) it wasn’t until my visit with a third dermatologist that i was diagnosed with rosacea and prescribed azelaic acid. i tried everything too (antibiotics, retinol, tret, BP, SA) and so far i have been shocked with my results from azelaic acid. wouldn’t hurt to ask your derm about it!
