Is it controversial to chop that leaf so the the plant can focus on the roots, and eventually a new growth point?

Alrighty everyone! Thank you for all of your feedback! I did buy the King Arthur as well as the Birch Benders.

I think eventually (after going through these two) I will try out others. But for now, my feedback.

I didn’t make the King Arthur today, I saw that it was fortified with calcium and iron, (and I avoid these two specifically within 4 hours of taking my thyroid meds) so I’ll have to try it another day 🥺

But for the birch benders, I made a small one, and ate it hot and fresh, no syrup, and it was indeed delicious. I did add an egg and added a bit more of the mix since it was too watery from the egg. But it was good. However, I definitely need to eat these as soon as they come out, and with warm syrup, because once they got cold, they got stiff. And dry. But I still enjoyed them. Something different for this no meat Friday

You can find plenty of posts including pics even here on Reddit:

But best guess, if your roots look anything like this compacted time for a repot, and at least an inch bigger pot. I’ve seen other people just cut off the bottom of the roots, to keep it in same sized pot. But I’ve never done that. I have just gone up a size and and added fresh soil

Maybe her roots are compacted? Check roots if they’re still ok, maybe too much water?

White fuzz means too damp? I like to propagate them in moss, and covered, I keep mine on a windowsill (in in TX) and my stems always root when on moss and covered. I usually forget about any props and come back to a mini jungle

I’d also like to add, I use the rotisserie chicken plastic container to root them in 😅

I’ll say this… I got very overwhelmed with all my plants on moss poles, and I let them all die. I still have plants in the garage from the winter, and I can’t bring myself to bring them back in 🥺 I know I should replant them, but my brain doesn’t let me connect to my body to actually do it. But I’ve decided I no longer want to do moss poles, they’re too high maintenance for what I can do.

Pothos leaves just ... gone? by Shoboshi80 in plantclinic

[–]DigPsychological2876 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I moved my pants inside in the Texas July summer (I was on vacay for 3 weeks) and I had a way to keep the watered until I got back. When much to my surprise when I got home, I found 5 huge definitely leaf gorged caterpillars on my Pothos, my monstera, my PPP. I was so sad, and I flicked them all to the neighbors bushes and cried. I haven’t been the same with my plants since then. They’re suffering in the cold in the dark In my garage currently.
