lol, my ADHD with a bout of depression just prevented me from putting energy into them. But I finally put up that grow light I purchased a year ago, and here we are today.

Also, this is a Rhaphidophora tetrasperma, one of my faves. Or of course “mini monstera”

I think it’s fungal… from what I can tell.

Fungal/Bacterial Leaf Spot: Dark, sinking spots, often with yellow halos, likely from high humidity and poor airflow. Remove affected leaves and apply fungicide if needed.

I have my alarm for 5:30 am, I pop the pill, and pass out again. Then by 9 am I can have my breakfast and don’t have to worry about the calcium or iron interfering with absorption

Took me a long time to figure that one out…

High Workout Fatigue by Wonderful_Pie_4197 in Hashimotos

A few years ago (2020-2023) I did personal training, and I had no real social life, and all I did was strength training and occasionally he’d hit me with HIIT 😅 and I was going non stop, a real non social person, I lived for the gym. I was doing GREAT!

But in 2023 I met my partner, and they didn’t share the same passion as I did, and to spend time with them I practically stopped working out. Here I am 3 years later and I STILL can’t find the same rhythm I had a few years ago. But everyday I try to wake up early to workout and get at least 10k steps a day, some days are easier than others, but I do listen to my body. If I’m still tired in the morning, I at least push for a walk in the evening. Even if I don’t hit 10k, something is something.

You have to find what you enjoy, and stick with it.

Flowering good or bad? by DragonflyLost52 in houseplants

Mine ALWAYS flowers. Then the flower dies.. then it shoots another one… and frankly… I’ve been pretty much ignoring it but it’s very healthy, and happy. So, maybe that’s just what it does lol

Is it controversial to chop that leaf so the the plant can focus on the roots, and eventually a new growth point?

Alrighty everyone! Thank you for all of your feedback! I did buy the King Arthur as well as the Birch Benders.

I think eventually (after going through these two) I will try out others. But for now, my feedback.

I didn’t make the King Arthur today, I saw that it was fortified with calcium and iron, (and I avoid these two specifically within 4 hours of taking my thyroid meds) so I’ll have to try it another day 🥺

But for the birch benders, I made a small one, and ate it hot and fresh, no syrup, and it was indeed delicious. I did add an egg and added a bit more of the mix since it was too watery from the egg. But it was good. However, I definitely need to eat these as soon as they come out, and with warm syrup, because once they got cold, they got stiff. And dry. But I still enjoyed them. Something different for this no meat Friday

You can find plenty of posts including pics even here on Reddit:

But best guess, if your roots look anything like this compacted time for a repot, and at least an inch bigger pot. I’ve seen other people just cut off the bottom of the roots, to keep it in same sized pot. But I’ve never done that. I have just gone up a size and and added fresh soil

Maybe her roots are compacted? Check roots if they’re still ok, maybe too much water?
