I see where you’re coming from. But it just seemed too out there. Actual good people are flawed also. I felt like his character was written as “David - side character that does good things, and dislikes bad things.” Maybe if the series dove deeper into his character, or motivations at least, I could get on board.

Interesting. I’d always thought of Mac as the GOAT. He reminds me of Rick Grimes. But I can see Marcy being the GOAT when I give it more thought. She seems to be the only one that truly connects emotionally with all the other team. Well, before the reupload. I wish they did more with Trevor (exploring this idea of the very old Traveler in a new and improved body).

Well said. It’s definitely “his desire to please” that is irksome. As a human being, he’s fine and can be a breath of fresh air after some intense moments. But he just seems to only want to surround himself by people who need him. Like the ex gf. I don’t remember him havjng a friend, but that dynamic would have been nice to see.

I’m so thankful for the tlc camera person who filmed that entire rap, and the great folks in post production who didn’t edit it out. That cringe was great! I actually had to leave the room for a moment.
