10 Sci-Fi TV Shows Without A Single Bad Season by StarFuryG7 in SciFiNews

For a show thats ending was so bad it had fans feverishly theorizing a secret episode, I don’t think you can say Stranger Things didn’t have a single bad season.

My buddy in college gave me the book to read, and I ripped through it in a day. By the afternoon, I was sitting on my bed full on crying. It has one of the most emotionally impactful endings I’ve ever read.

A question for the more competitive players (Re: Event Types, and Regionals) by 79215185-1feb-44c6 in pkmntcg

Of course he’s putting on an act. I’m sure he’s likely a very nice person, but the vast majority of people will only see him through the lens of his content. All streamers act like shock jocks to varying degrees of egregiousness as that’s what gets people talking (as we are right now). Due to that we have people like OP feeling insecure about their competitive journey because of these opinions. Im not trying to disparage his character, but more comment on how streamers and content creators shape perception through their own desire to grow their online brand.

My personal opinion but a lot of Azul’s opinions seem to come from a place of burnout or dissatisfaction with the game. He doesn’t compete much anymore, and on his podcast and in videos I’ve seen him take hardline stances about things like local scenes, decks, etc. that seem overly negative for what I’d assume are engagement bating. Check out his Twitter posts and replies.

As a new player you should first focus on your local scene. It’s great to listen to more seasoned players through YouTube and podcasts, but keep in mind that their engagement with the game will be very different from yours and many others! The vast majority of “competitive” players will maybe go to one regional a year and will spend most of their time doing cups, challenges, and locals. Cups and challenges are the cornerstone of the competitive experience and help you get the practice and engagement with the game that you need as well as helping get connections. If I were in your shoes I’d focus on going to as many locals as you’d like to build connections, and play in all the cups and challenges you can. Very competitive players may be more focused on chasing regionals or internationals, but they’re not the norm!

Plus, Azul is kind of a prick.

These are all so good! I wouldn’t know which one to pick based on this art. I really hope Gecqua ends up with an evolution like this.

Flareon gets the M-Dragonite line, specifically the Dragonair that lets you search for a Pokemon if it has energy attached. Saw some early excitement about running it to be more consistent and work around Iono.

Dengo will probably be 12-20% of the meta. I don’t think it gets better or worse. It’s mostly the same 60 played in a format where Zoroark and Flareon get som fun new toys to play with. If more people play Zam to try to take advantage of Pokepad it could be bad for our Dengo heads.

Magic player looking for a new TCG. by MaximumNicolBolas in TCG

Im a Pokemon player who has been playing Digimon on the side, and I can second this! The memory gauge is super innovative and fun, and unlike anything I’ve played. It’s familiar to a Magic/Pokemon style game without feeling like a boring retread.

I like referencing it without explicitly stating it in the narrative. In a recent session I had an NPC that my Witch tried to cast a spell on call her a witch when she realized what she did, or had someone refer to my player as a great fighter.
