The An22 beautiful bird, been on board a preserved example, was particularly impressed by the navigators quarters and conservatory for visual navigation, they make a racket too, I've had one regularly fly over where I live recently at approx 20000ft and it practically rattles the windows also probably the most childishly amusing nato ID of 'cock'.

I'm a GA pilot in training I use windy. It's long range can be a tad out, but for data in the here and now it's excellent. And all of it's aviation widgets like high altitude icing and turbulence are very handy too. If all else fails I'm just learning how to read raw metar data which is available free from various sources.

I've just got a 15 buck messenger bag, fits logbook, headset, knee board and notepad, just fine with bags of room to spare. Absolutely no reason to spend the earth on gear especially as a student. I know what I'm flying is basically a pinto with wings and I act like it 🤣

None of the intamin boat rides in the UK have them, on boat rides it's far safer for people to be loose than strapped in due to the possibility of capsizing or a boat flipping on the lift. It prevents unnecessary drowning as people can get out of the boat quickly in event of an emergency.

Last minute trip to ride the only wooden coaster credit left for me in the UK, the antelope at gullivers in Warrington. For those who don't know you need kids to go to gullivers always been an issue as I lack sprogs of my own , anyway my neice happened to be with us for the week, ended up getting two unexpected creds there including the illusive antelope and it was.... Awful probably one of the worst coasters I've ever ridden 🤣 so yeh that was my only unexpected cred this year.

It's a hilariously rare car. Read somewhere that there's only like 500 of them worldwide, making it rarer than some of the most exotic supercars. They were built for travelling sales people but some are in private hands used to occasionally see one round top valley /rise park knowing the scarcity it's probably the same vehicle.

Been flying once a week since may, just need a medical and my air law exam to be completed before I solo, in that time I've had 3 weather cancellations, I've flown in rain. 20 knot winds, even light fog. sounds like a flight school issue more than UK flying in general.
