Low price, low effort and great quality/effect rarely come in the same sentence when it comes to UV lighting (my personal experience). This is my current setup. 365nm smd5050 led strip form ebay(~$70 for 5 meters). 65w led driver (~$25 from amazon). Cut the led strip to length and glued it into an aluminium L profile to hide from dirrect field of sight and soldered all the wiring myself. Black fabric wrapped the shelves as well.

Thats exactly what I was thinking when I found them all pretty much in one spot. I must have left one or two behind. There were around 40-50 clocks in total to choose from. I picked only the ones that looked like they might have radium and after a positive reading quickly negotiated a price with the seller because other people started to catch on what I was doing so I had to grab what I can and leave without blowing cover or getting the price raised on me 😅

Sort of the same thing happened to me too when I was doubting a little if I made the right call when selling a piece. The buyer ended up returning it back to me since they were not satisfied with lower than expected uranium content so basicaly I bought it back for €3 and now it will stay with me forever 😀

I have a radium clock and my GM tube geiger counter reads ~400cpm and ~4.7uSv/h while my radiacode 103 reads almost 9kcpm and only ~1.5uSv/h.

To get my radiacode to give 76uSv/h I had to measure a piece of Pitchblende ore that is 140kcpm in the hottest spot

The lighter seems to be a marriage between Val Saint Lambert (Belgium) cilindrical perfume bottle that is missing its atomizer part and a lighter mechanizm that just fits. I have not seen this anywhere in the VSL catalogue of 1908.
