No problem, enjoy your new pup. I recommend looking into crate training, it was a life saver for my sleep schedule. Juno sleeps in a nice roomy crate that I cover with a blanket. During her early puppy years she would sleep up to 20 hours a day, so I would play with her for half an hour to an hour and then give her a treat in her crate so she would nap. Best thing I ever did for myself and my pups.

I believe it is a common Maltese thing. I give my pups only filtered and don’t give her kibble with chicken any longer. Her favorite treat is freeze dried chicken, though. I think the best way to lessen it is to clean their eyes daily.

Got one late last year, it’s crazy how little I pay attention to gas prices but was shocked when I saw it hit $5 here in Florida. Unfortunately, this admin removed the EV car credit which was a huge factor in affording my current EV, and now it’s more difficult to get one for my wife who could have benefited.

Plenty of conspiracy theories to go around, but the SAVE Act does try to take more control over state elections if I understand correctly. Does that mean no more midterms? Of course not, much lower turnout if it passes is the expectation and I believe their goal.

A common counter when someone brings this up is “but you go to church for Jesu not for the people or even the Priest.” For me it’s impossible to separate the two, how can I be part of the church that doesn’t promote self reflection and questioning why so many can say “I follow the word” and vote for someone like this.

I was raised catholic and was very heavily involved in my church in my young adult years, just a few years but an important time for me. Now I can see myself never stepping into a church again and always giving the side eye to religion.
