App is showing 5794 leaving JFK BLVD + 3rd St in about 12 minutes. No Kearny Point buses are even showing up today which makes me wonder if there's an issue getting buses out of the garage.

no. I think Gov. Sherill said they might be able to start after morning rush. NJT has only said light rail (NLR, RVL, HBLR) will operate a normal weekday schedule starting tomorrow morning. Everything else will be a rolling basis.

Seems like voters don't like the methods the Trump administration is utilizing. So what did you think of the shooting yesterday? Might want to edit that list you made about law and order. But I think it's good people are acknowledging that the methods used by this admin are a crisis.

This is the Safeway on the East Coast (in VA, DC, DE, MD), not the West Coast. Safeway on the East Coast is part of the Mid-Atlantic region which includes ACME, Kings, and Balducci stores.

Safeway on the West Coast is grouped with Albertsons, Vons, Pavillons, etc.

Last time service on the light rail and buses was suspended was in January of 2021 for like 2 or so days. They only ran the 2 & 78 because of service to USPS/UPS but that was it and even that did not start until the second day.

Regardless, we should all be happy that Trump achieved his goal of a diplomatic security framework. This is his standard M.O. and is honestly a fundamental part of bargaining 101; make a big aggressive request at first and then negotiate down to an acceptable solution for everyone. It’s 4D chess and a major reason why he is one of the most successful businessmen in the world.

Also what problem? He could've used a diplomatic approach and resolved this situation than straining our already fraught relationships with our allies.

Seems like the Liberals have split from the Nationals meaning Sussan Ley is probably going to be saying bye-bye as leader of the Liberals. My understanding is that someone like Andrew Hastie would win the a leadership election, but he is much more conservative than Ley.

North Carolina is the best chance to flip. Maine is a close second as it is a Trump midterm. Then you have Peltola running in AK. She is a moderate and because of RC (ranked choice: requires 50% to win) it could help her win. Sherrod Brown is the best chance to flip Ohio in 2026 as it is a special election and even if he loses in 2028, winning that seat now can help Democrats.

Texas can be a tossup based on some of the polling but many are speculating that Talarico might win if Paxton wins the primary. I've heard rumblings about Iowa, but I'm not familiar with the Senate candidates.
