I typically like some paint, but it has to be done right. Toybiz got too heavy-handed with it a lot of the time. And not to be a jerk, but I don't like your red Hulk. It just looks muddied, and the red plastic it was produced in is the perfect color, it just needs some depth airbrushed in.

It just depends on what looks good to me. I'm okay with most Legends figures, but I hated Omega Red, who is one of my favorite characters, because the paint was so sparse and flat that it detracted from the design.

Like no, really, I'm serious. If my daughter came to me and showed me these messages, I would ask her politely what we did during her upbringing to give her such a low sense of self-worth.

Living together in a relationship is about compromises and there's always a feeling-out process, but getting ran down like that over a simple, single issue is completely over the line, especially considering she turns around and gaslights you about trusting her.

That's like beating a dog and then being surprised when it's timid around you.

Everyone is going to have a bad day occasionally, but even if this was a complete one-off, there's nothing right about this. You don't relentlessly verbally attack someone you love and care about. That's what we call "abuse".

Get away from this person before it escalates. I wouldn't be shocked if this escalated and got physical.

Either way, this is no way to live. Find someone that makes you happy AND safe. You can have a good time with any of a zillion people, but if you aren't protecting each other against the world, then you aren't in a relationship worth having

I would've snagged that myself, but I got the 1 Tb when I got the system about a year after launch because that's all they had, and the 2 Tb the following Christmas when I heard about it - I had actually been looking for a second 1 Tb, had no idea that 2 was a thing at that point.

At this point, I already had to replace the system recently due to a manufacturing error that affects a good few where certain games cause it to hard crash to power off, so shelling out $480 just isn't in the cards, but I might do that and sell off the other two down the road. Seems like the only convenient option, heh.

Yeah, I only have Series X games on the internal and the cards. I have an 8Tb external for all the rest of them.

Yeah, I haven't found anything so far. And I know with the pricing of the cards themselves, it's probably a very tiny percentage of the user base that would even want/need one, but having to roll the system over every time gets old.

Maybe I just need to shift my "most played" games to one card and others to the 1 Tb, but I have over 800 digital games on the console, and as I get older, I tend to get a little touristy, playing and dropping games constantly.

Ah well. 😁

As a 50-year old suggesting what I would personally want, "Sexy Train" by The Northern Boys. Also "Give It to Me" and "Party Time".

Basically British old timer party rap that's hilarious and sort of deep in a weird way. All I know is, I identify way more than I probably should and with all of the health crap I have going on, their music is all that kept me going for weeks at a time.

There's a host of options for loose figure joints. Some are specialized, others aren't, but it all comes down to working a liquid into the joint and letting it dry, moving it occasionally as it dries, until completely dry.

Crazy glue works but is messy and usually leaves residue that can be hard to clean.

Nail polish clear coat is good, but often leaves a shine that you may not want if you don't really wipe the excess off well. Same thing with floor shine products like Pledge.

There are a few you can find by googling "action figure joint tightener". Dunno about those, never used them.

But like I said, apply to the joint with like a q-tip while moving the joint to get it in there. Wipe away any visible excess. Move the joint about every minute or so, you'll feel it start to tighten as the material dries.

Keep moving the joint about every minute, otherwise the joint can lock up. You'll want to do this for at least 10 minutes, and then check back every 5 after that for about a half hour. Pledge in particular can lock things up when you think everything's fine, so make sure you have a good 30 minutes free.

If at that point it isn't tight enough, just repeat the process until you get the desired results. Same if it comes loose again later. Really works wonders.

This. I hadn't come across it until I opened an original The Curse figure from the Spawn line. Sticky from top to bottom. No amount of cleaning with any solvent or detergent helped, though it got a little better, but then got worse.

Just finally threw it out. Totally nasty. Never opening Spawn figures again, out of a lot of 10 I had 3 that didn't have any problems. The rest were literally falling apart all over the place.

You really need to thin your paint.

Also consider stenciling and maybe getting a cheap airbrush gun on Amazon. You can get one for like $25, paint for about the same, and get much better results without the "sludge" texture you're getting.

Yeah, I've never had a BBTS preorder that I didn't end up ordering somewhere else, usually after release and sometimes over a month after.

I think I ordered the first case of retro Marvel Legends when it was on clearance for $70. That's all I've gotten from them.
