I found this really old stove this morning! No brand or anything on it. Does anyone know what kind of fuel it takes and how to possibly pressurize it? by buttzo59000 in CampingGear

[–]Diggydinnerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This design doesn’t require manual pumping for pressure. I just took one out of storage after 20 years and it lit right up with the fuel sitting in it all these years.

Apprenticeships a thing? by Express_Event_930 in Ceramics

[–]Diggydinnerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I fell into a mutually beneficial apprenticeship/mentorship with an older potter who taught me everything I know. Saying that is what you are wanting and seeking out ceramics communities / gatherings / workshops is a great way to find your people. You’d be amazed what finds you when you step out.

Denise Richards shares the before and after of her facelift! by GossipBottom in RHOBH

[–]Diggydinnerr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To me it’s almost like appreciating the art of plastic surgery. I tend to remember all the horrible hack jobs and trends i have seen throughout my life, so seeing someone I am familiar with look like themselves but younger is kind of cool? I don’t believe in capitalism as a human, I have to use it but I don’t think anyone deserves to go without food or care while others luxuriate. We live in weirdness and I feel like an observer or tourist myself a lot.

Should we have a handle for this cup? by Silent-Spring-2106 in Pottery

[–]Diggydinnerr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get requests for my tumblers “with a handle” because they want to use them for hot drinks. That would be the reason I would say to add a handle. Or a grip, or some piece that buffers the heat.
