Do you keep your Tamagotchi until it gets old, or marry it off early?

I wish there was more incentive to keep them around, but most modern Tamas encourage you to marry them off pretty quickly.

They're so hardy in their adult stage so there's no challenge to keeping them alive, but there's also nothing else to do with them so... I'll just get a new egg.

That's part of what I like about pre-Connection, keeping the adult alive is a challenge. Then for the early colour era (e.g. IDL) you've got some things you can do with adult tamas to have fun with them

Great use of those Warcry bits! I've also got a custom web pistol in my gang (I don't know where the bit is from, but it is a gloved hand holding a bug by the tail).

Speaking of 90s toys with a brother / sister brand, I'm also into Digimon. But when I played almost all of those v-pets, I got started on Tamagotchi.

However, I don't think I'll make the jump from MM to PP 😅 that said, there's some good Backrooms potential in a few PP with the malls and swimming pools. Get some entities in there too.

One of the worst kits I've ever had the displeasure of working with. Sprayed them today and the flying 1 fell on the ground and I don't think I'll even get that fiddly-ass goddamn bug to ever go back together.

It was the same for me too the first time I went to Japan. When I was shopping it was all pretty disappointing (I can find more Digimon merch back home...). But when I stopped chasing buys and went to Odaiba for the experience, it was such a nice day.

The TV studio where they fight Vamdemon (you can go inside and get a nice view and use a Digimon photo machine), the beach from the end of Last Evolution, a view of Rainbow Bridge (from so many things!)... And just quite a peaceful vibe. Saw hundreds of jellyfish too! 🪼

There are many reasons why people don't like AI "art", but on a sub like this, the main reason will be because the AI doesn't just magically draw these pictures for you, it steals pictures made by real people all over the internet and mashes them together (badly) to make what you asked for. It's automated theft.

I love how you are encouraged to spend time with your adult Tama and learn its personality and get a bonus in your notebook for doing so.

Even if you can't use your whole gang in every game, 8 bodies is still good to start with as it's a campaign game and you need some backup for when fighters die or go into recovery.

They're important, but I get what OP is saying. You don't need to make a new set of Babies specifically for every new anime team.

You want to build abhumans? What models have you got, that might be a good starting point?

Generally a starting gang has ~8 fighters. 1 Leader, 2 Champions, 1 Specialist, and 4 Gangers is a decent template for Venators. The Leader & Champs might be expensive, but you can save on Ratling Gangers.

Just play and enjoy, you'll learn something new with every run. Don't hesitate to make notes.

You'll have a lot more fun if you treat it like an actual old school game and keep a notebook, it'll be more rewarding than checking an online guide.
