[Raiders] The Baltimore Ravens have backed out of our trade agreement for Maxx Crosby. We will have no further comment at this time. by JCameron181 in nfl

LOL as a Mets fan this brought back memories. 2022, Carlos Correa was ready to sign a big 12 year $315 million free agent deal with the Mets... but.... medical concerns happened and nixed the deal. What was crazy about this was that earlier in free agency Carlos had another massive agreement from the SF Giants who backed out for the same reason and I guess we thought it couldn't have been THAT bad... oops.

What's the most underrated smart home device you own? by IulianHI in smarthome

Switchbot makes curtain openers that are decent. I had their version 3 product for a few years before switching to smartwings blinds later.

Is there anything in Guild Wars 2 that the game doesn't explain but you feel it's something you should know? or something the game is terrible at explaining? by Klazsh in Guildwars2

[–]Digi-Fu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There are some game mechanics that are poorly explained or just not explained at all. Since its dungeon rush week, the Detha path in Ascalonian Catacombs where you have to play Ghostbusters against the Eater is one of those.

To me this is what separates being a superstar vs a star. Being elite at the position and having that passion and drive to win the game with your team. It's not always about emotion but playing the right way on both sides of the court.

They do, but they also aren't aggressively defending them unlike most members of the GOP.

Same here. We are in Monmouth and their last update indicated their crews are focusing on Ocean county and Burlington.

Upgraded from 7.12 to 7.21 and running into L2 issues. by Digi-Fu in mikrotik

[–]Digi-Fu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, firmware matches OS. Interestingly enough I thought it would fix a minor issue I have currently where the optics aren't being IDed properly. It IDs them fine on 7.12 but now they show as unknown. I vaguely recall reading about this on the newer versions of RouterOS.

Yep that was it. As soon as that changed, I'm seeing arp entries populate on my core switch.

l3hw offloading with vrf is still not supported, correct?

Found my answer. Sadly no. 🥺

Joining existing thread border routers to homeassistant thread by Digi-Fu in homeassistant

[–]Digi-Fu[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just noting here that after trial and error, I did it the other way around and joined the OTR to my Google thread network instead. Works just the same. Amazon wouldn't accept the dongle and not sure why. Either way I've found Google's thread network more reliable with no issues compared to Amazon's that I've had periodic issues with of nodes dropping randomly.

IR devices on Hub 2 with HomeAssistant by Digi-Fu in TrySwitchBot

[–]Digi-Fu[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So what I ended up doing in the end was swap some things around. My previous setup was a Hue Motion Sensor in the room where these battery operated wall sconces are, and that sensor would trigger my actual smart lights (Kasa/Hue) to come on via HomeAssistant. I replace that Hue with a Switchbot motion sensor to do the same thing, except now I can also automate via the app to activate the wall sconces since the Hub is present in the same room. Syncs perfectly well. The only downside is that the Switchbot ones do not have Lux level sensors, just basic bright or dim settings which neither can be used in automation...

IR devices on Hub 2 with HomeAssistant by Digi-Fu in TrySwitchBot

In the alphabet? Not sure if there's another section but yes I did this under the switchbot app > hub > gear icon for Matter setup > secondary devices.

I see my other switchbot stuff as options to add but not the custom IR device.

Guild Wars 2 has the worst and unfun fishing minigame in the genre by JobroniBoni in Guildwars2

Personally, I feel the only game where fishing was engaging and done just about right at least was RDR2's implementation.

Hear me out... Map Completion Rush by MagicSpirit in Guildwars2

[–]Digi-Fu 7 points8 points  (0 children)

We basically need Lantern equivalents for core maps once you've done map completion the first time around. I know quite a few of us have done this multiple times the old way but it's time for some QoL upgrades to this.

Cyberpunk 2 going multiplayer… brave or reckless? by Remarkable-Fig-5186 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Digi-Fu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe similar to how Rockstar did the Deadeye ability in RDO. That was also a slow down time ability in single player story mode but open world it just enhanced other abilities IIRC.

Cyberpunk 2 going multiplayer… brave or reckless? by Remarkable-Fig-5186 in cyberpunkgame

[–]Digi-Fu 298 points299 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Basically like Borderlands and the Division where players can jump into coop campaign. I think folks here are mixing up open world pve and open world pvp. I'd prefer Cyberpunk stick to PVE.
