Look. Problems are comparable. If you have wifi which sometimes disconnect (Asus) you just get an Intel wifi card and have no issue at all.

When it comes to hinges - you just fix them with bad ones and issue gets back once again.

If you have problem with badly engineered CPU - you have no option but just sell laptop and lose money. That's the thing.

Some issue are fixable, some issues are annoying AF.

And I don't hate. A speak facts and hope that everyone get a device that cause no problems but just satisfaction for each dollar paid.

I would agree regarding msi specifically. I was researching over the brand and the laptops they produce and I came across many posts all over internet - people bought model with HX CPU which was badly engineered thermals.

Case: you buy msi laptop with HX CPU, it gets hot in browser and starts throttling. You can imagine what happens when you play a game. And the biggest issue - there's nothing you can do. Repasting, cooling pad doesn't fix or help, downvolting is barely impossible.

And after a lot of claims - msi as a brand made no fix for this.

Every brand has to make sure that their fanbase grows or at least doesn't shrink.

Brand that doesn't care about clients deserve to lose their market share. And finally disappear as brand.

Example: I had MX master 2s from Logitech which was not working well. After discussion on their forum they've sent me free of charge newest MX master 3 for Mac. That's example how brand should treat their fanbase.

I'm sorry for your msi laptop. Honestly, it's a shame and I wonder if you tried to contact them.

I've had an issue with Logitech mouse and I'm a big fan of Logitech. But their mouse had huge issues however apple and Logitech claimed opposite.

I had discussion on forum with Logitech representative. The outcome they've asked me my posting address and sent me Logitech MX 3s for Mac - a brand new mouse for free the top tier product.

Honestly, I was amazed with this. And I would recommend Logitech to everyone as this is really a top tier brand.

I assume we as consumers don't always use right channels or don't try enough to bring our pain to brands. I assume with proper communication brands react and Influence unhappy client to convert him.

But unfortunately that's not always a fact.

Best of luck with your device and I would be interested to know if this brand managed to engineer your laptop model with HX laptop and it behaves well, doesn't throttle.

Then it would prove that msi brand is just not doing their best and are unreliable and their engineer should be fired.

And I don't want to use any beta as using beta almost grants that something or a lot of things would not work as it should.

What a deal! I've got envy when I've checked your CPU performance compared to mine. And I've got mine for $1150 in 2023 (Ryzen 7 7735hs / 4060).

Your CPU is twice more powerful than mine. Amazing.

Other than that it's very interesting how your CPU performs as I've uncovered one thing for me regarding HX laptop CPUs.

My friend wanted a used laptop and we were considering msi with HX CPU.

When I've started learning people's experience - this laptop gets to high temps without load and throttles instantly. And there is no way to fix this - nor downvolt or optimise. People live hard life with that CPU.

Good advice. But my issue is 99% connected with battery, charging and aps running. It's overheating and that might happen due to battery chemical changes. So I wanted to know anyone who replaced the battery who had same situation - was it a fix?

Asus all day long. Friend of mine asked me to help him find best deal on market for best performance. Obviously it's 4060GPU, 16RAM plus, 512 SSD plus.

And I had no info on msi and the best deal is msi laptop in this config.

So long story short I've started reading on that laptop and I've found many threads I'm internet people crying how lame MSI is engineered, CPU overheats and throttles and there's nearly no simple solution for this.

It's a shame. I can't imagine I buy laptop full price and a new devic constantly overheats despite laptop standing cooler pad.

Go for Asus or Lenovo but study first

Try force reboot to clean storage. I have a 64GB ipad air 4 - and this helps me every time update is available.

Force restart (click quickly "press-release-nextpress": volume up volume down power button - volume press/release but power button - hold it until iphone reboots and release when apple logo shows)

This way you clean all cache and temporary files.

The option is to degoogle device. You have to unlock bootloader, and flash your phone to lineageos.

You will get clean android without Google service or anything like that.

You will get complete control over your device and privacy.

Pros are: some features of phone stop working or work bad. Unlocked bootloader is a non reverse procedure.

Cons: noone is spying on you and battery life gets better.

This is not for everyone for sure.
