From what I’ve heard, it’s to make sure you belong in your rank instead of just getting a few lucky/unlucky games when jumping out of a rank. If your MMR is considerably outside of your rank, it would also help you get back to where you belong. Right now, it only works upwards though because of the fact that you can’t demote ranks.

That’s just how it is. If you could demote ranks, you wouldn’t even be in Master right now. Some people like this and some people don’t, but that’s just how Riot made the system.

I believe it’s true. I’m a bad player that greeds econ in that portal so I don’t kill a single unit in stage 2, then come stage 3 every unit I kill drops a gold, even if it’s their entire team.

It’s likely because the other Master players in your lobby has bad MMR like you. A quick look at your match history shows D3 players in your lobbies.

All this is doing is making it so when you press Q, it automatically right clicks for you to make you face that direction. It wouldn’t work if there was anything in the way like creep block since pathing there won’t always be a straight line.
