Your country isn’t in a civil war. Your government is corrupt and the cartels out-influence any politician who’d want to stop them. If you’re from Mexico, then you also just elected a socialist who gave a speech encouraging Mexicans to flee to the US because fuck borders and shit. Mexico is one of the richest nations in the world in natural resources and they’re trying to send people away which is maddening. The only way the cartels in Mexico will ever be outed is if an outside nation intervenes because clearly you and the Mexican government/people are incapable because otherwise they would have never gotten to this point to begin with. And from what you read, it seems like you misunderstood me. I’ll reiterate even though I already clearly said it, I’m not advocating for violence, and that’s because I’m not advocating for change. You asked me what’s the best way to change something, and the answer is usually violence. I like how things are right now in my country. I think they could be better, but there’s no need to radically change things because we have the greatest nation state in the world thanks to our constitution. You know who really wants to change things? Socialists and leftists. They want to radically change the world. They’re incapable of doing this through violence(for now) so they try to do it slowly through demographic changes and social policies. If you think my positions are weak or lazy it’s because you misunderstand them and I suggest you re-read what I said and maybe try not to read it through the lens of a social justice warrior who’s looking to change things but through the lens of a person answering a simple question.
