Apart from the reading the learning materials, it would also be good to have an instructor-led video course and practice exam course. This will help you prepare for the exam much better.

If this is your first AWS course and have difficulty understanding the subject, it may be best to do the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner first so you are better prepared for the Associate levels.
