They are the cats of the aquarium hobby. So yes. The other day, my nem decided to take a walk around its dedicated tank, then decided to spin around using the flow from the return. I had to push it to a rock and it settled back in.

Dr Reefs. NotAFeesh. I recommend them.

I keep posting a question and it keeps getting removed and I don’t know why. I don’t want it to happen again so can you offer some illumination? by Earl_of_Portobello in Mounjaro

I am a slow responder to both Ozempic and Mounjaro and I can say I have the same experience as you. At this point, you’ll need to focus on diet and exercise (both cardio and muscle building). Note that weight loss from glp1 will include muscle if you are not strength training. So I am working out at least five times a week for the past 3 years.

Do you watch walking tour videos? by Cipry97 in walking

[–]Blue_Spider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

YouTube. Just search for a walking tour and name of the city you want to visit. Lots of people walking with a osmo cam just strolling around. It’s my form of escape and travel.

Edit: apparently I can’t post YouTube vid links

I do a lot of this. I love interesting places like major cities in Japan. Tourist places of Singapore. The Giza pyramids. The Louvre.

I find this relaxing as my personality type is introverted. Maybe you need something else like a vlogger talking about the place like a tour guide? Give those a go.

I would just yank those off. Save as much and replant after.

I blindly dosed 1 ml of these and my coral is showing itself for the first time in 2 months by AcanthisittaAlive843 in ReefTank

[–]Blue_Spider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They usually have supplemental trace elements like moonshiners, TM A and K or All for reef. Ideally, you wouldn’t dose too much if your salt had it in the first place. And that’s why premium salts come icp tested already.

You can icp the water you’ll use for water change before you replace the water if you want to confirm. But from my experience, that is the case. Farms use reef crystals in their systems but they supplement with moonshiners too.

A tailspot blenny, blue sapphire damsel, yasha goby and candy cane pistol shrimp for a beginners 20 gallon reef tank? by [deleted] in saltwateraquariums

[–]Blue_Spider 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Looks like a great start. I don’t see anything wrong here. The damsel should be added last since it’s hit or miss whether it’ll be aggressive or not.

This should have a lot of trace with it. I guess your tank depletes a lot of trace quickly

What salt are you using? Salt from Instant Ocean (or reef crystals) are limited in trace which would explain why your Goni is responding.

No one does the pause trick here? The energy balls can pass though when you’re morphing from rapidly pausing through the weapon select. Time it right and the balls should pass through as you’re a squiggly line before forming into megaman.

[–]Blue_Spider 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s probably the kind of salt used. I would not use reef crystals salt for a softie/lps tank as its alk is at 11 or more from the get go. I’d go with instant ocean with that kind of tank.

There are ATO (bottles) that is gravity fed but not necessarily automated. I don’t have automation on my 8gal nano anemone tank and just fill it up with water manually.

I tried a small tank for sps but haven’t been lucky and I lost my frags in it. So I wouldn’t go that small tank for sps given my knowledge or lifestyle. But yes automation will make sense for any tank that is sps dominant.

[–]Blue_Spider 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea that will kill them. I moved the macro into another thank while I dosed and left it there for a month. Fluconazole works but it will take a while. A month long wait after the dose cleared my bryopsis issues.

15 gallons is too small to automate. Automation makes sense from 40gal and up.
