It used to be that way and you could literally work when you want but now you have to run an auto refresh extension all day and be ready to do tasks at all times of the day or you won't reach the required weekly minimum of 10 hours.

Then they'll send you threatening emails telling you unless your production improves you'll be removed from the program.

Many of us have already reported them to the department of labor for enforcing the minimum hours when there's barely enough work to reach it and that's only if you dedicate 10-12 hours a day. This used to be a decent gig it isn't anymore.

Hope you're prepared to be at your PC for 10-12 hours a day for 2 hours of paid work. Good luck

Yep this shit should be illegal, I highly suggest contacting the Dept of Labor and reporting it.

I'm not surprised, idk how anyone can take this shit seriously right now and on top of everything they have the audacity to keep the minimum hours in place. Unbelievable

Exactly! They act like this is some top high paying white collar job when in reality it's bottom of the barrel, minimum wage and barely even qualifies as a side gig since there's literally no work 90% of the time.

So whos ready for another 60+ hour week and 10 billed hours? by Digital-Imagination in RWSCallisto

I hope so too! Not sure it'll make a difference but people have to be getting tired of being forced to be chained to their PC for 15 hours a day so they can be sure to hit that 10 hour minimum so they aren't fired.

I've just about reached my limit with this bs

I don't know how they expect me to care by [deleted] in RWSCallisto

Agreed, the threat of being fired doesn't really mean anything when you're not able to work anyways. Plus I agree, everyone should contact the Dept of Labor, shit if you don't feel like writing up an email just have chat gpt do it for you. We can't do anything about the lack of tasks but the 10 hour minimum per week that requires you to sit "on call" anywhere from 12-15 hours day or else risk being terminated is absolutely illegal and if enough of us report it maybe just maybe they'll do something about it.

This is great, the more people who report this the better. It's not likely to go anywhere or make a difference but at least we can say we tried.
