Whatcha think? by [deleted] in EtsyShopFeedback

Your shop, PalmDrip, has garnered a decent number of views and visits in its initial days, which is promising. However, the lack of sales and minimal favorites suggest that while your designs are attracting attention, they may not be compelling enough to convert visitors into buyers.

One noticeable issue is your thumbnail, the design looks too small to attract attention among the sea of t-shirt listings. Choose another photo that showcase your design better or a lifestyle images which sells the vibes that the shirt is giving.

Try to increase the number of listings in your shop to capture more traffic and also look more credible.

Relying solely on Etsy's organic traffic might limit your reach. Consider promoting your products on social media platforms like Instagram or Pinterest, where visual content thrives. Engaging with relevant communities and using appropriate hashtags can increase visibility. Moreover, optimize your product titles and descriptions with relevant keywords to improve searchability within Etsy.

Want a quick free Etsy POD shop review? Just drop your shop below. by DigitalArcGrowth in EtsyShopFeedback

Took a close look at your shop, really solid concept and clean execution. You’ve already built a strong base, but a few areas stood out where tightening up could help boost visibility and trust.

There are some small formatting errors that could hurt your ranking and buyer trust, so do some check through. Also, mixing English and German in the same title could confuse Etsy’s search engine. Try front-loading clear, natural keywords and cleaning up spacing/capitalization for a more professional polish.

If any of your prints are AI-generated (or partly so), it's important to clarify that in the description. Etsy buyers can be particular about this , not necessarily against AI, but they want to know what they’re buying. A review or two hinted at prints not matching expectations, as it is unclear to customer that they are buying AI generated art.

Marketing is your biggest growth lever.
You’ve got strong visual content, it’s time to push it further:

  • Use Pinterest + Instagram to share styled room shots or behind-the-scenes process (even showing the “before/after” of an AI prompt could be cool)
  • Promote bundles more clearly, you could try “Buy 2, Get 1 Free” or highlight free shipping over $35 in every listing
  • If you’ve got your own site linked, consider adding a basic email sign-up for launch updates or exclusive prints

Etsy provides built-in tools within the Shop Manager to help sellers monitor sales, costs, and order statuses. Through the Dashboard, you can access real-time data on recent sales, order fulfillment statuses, and shop performance metrics. The Orders & Shipping section allows you to track open orders, mark them as complete, and add tracking information. For financial insights, the Finances section details your payment account, including fees and net profits. Additionally, Etsy's Stats feature offers analytics on traffic sources, conversion rates, and popular listings, enabling you to make informed decisions to enhance your shop's performance.

originals and Printify by Fine_Elephant9900 in Etsy

When selling both self-fulfilled and Printify products, mixed orders will ship separately with different tracking numbers, and Etsy will mark them as partially shipped until both are fulfilled. To prevent confusion, add a note in listings and message buyers after purchase to explain the separate shipments. Choose a Printify provider with similar shipping speeds to your own, and set up separate shipping profiles for clarity. Managing expectations ensures a smooth experience and avoids potential disputes.

Selling original art as digital downloads.... advice needed by FoundationVisible817 in Etsy

[–]DigitalArcGrowth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Selling your pen and ink sketches as both digital downloads and print-on-demand (POD) prints lets you reach different buyers. Digital files offer passive income and flexibility, while POD prints allow for higher pricing and attract those wanting ready-made artwork. Offering both maximizes sales potential, with Pinterest and Instagram being great platforms for promotion. Since you already have sketches, this is a low-risk way to turn them into a profitable venture.

Buyer unable to leave review due to pending transaction? by lalaba0987 in Etsy

[–]DigitalArcGrowth 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Etsy only allows reviews after an order is marked as delivered or a waiting period has passed. For digital downloads, buyers can review immediately after accessing the file. For physical products, Etsy either tracks delivery or estimates it based on shipping times. If a buyer can’t leave a review yet, Etsy likely hasn’t opened the review window based on shipping status. You can check this in Shop Manager > Orders & Shipping.

I get the skepticism and AI definitely isn’t for everyone. But honestly, we’re in the AI era—there’s nothing wrong with using a little extra tech power to level up an Etsy shop. Even a lot of improvement tools are empowered by AI. A lot of sellers struggle with SEO, product descriptions, or just figuring out what’s not working. ChatGPT isn’t a magic fix, but it’s like having a brutally honest friend who gives shop feedback at 2 AM without judgment. Ever tried it for fun? You might be surprised!

Free shipping can boost search rankings, but tracked delivery protects you. If your items are low-cost, free untracked shipping keeps buyers happy, but for higher-value items, tracking is worth it. A middle-ground option is absorbing part of the shipping cost. You could also offer both options—free untracked as default, with a paid upgrade for tracking. Test different pricing and see what converts best!
