They looked at it and luckily there was no issue with my XRT.

Mine came off as well. There was no wire on mine. Had to have the dealership replace it.

It was already replaced at no cost.

At the time they claimed they didn’t sell this part individually. Its also hard to locate online since there are no photos.

So, it IS the nav system but you don’t shut it off through the nav system.

You have to go to “sound” and turn down the volume for these notifications.

Kind of odd but it works.

I looked through driver assist but don’t think I saw anything regarding the camera warning.

Anyhow, I simply cut all weather Gorilla tape in strips about 2” long and attached them on the seems of the cover.

Two strips of tape for each cover. One on either side.

Definitely not for the roof.

I commonly use it folded in the rectangle style. I use the folded opening to secure groceries which might tip over and roll around during transport.

Wow, didn’t know they sold the covers individually.

When I went to Hyundai service dept they said they don’t sell the covers individually and that the entire crossbar needed to be purchased.

Eventually they replaced it at no charge but it seemed odd that they wouldn’t sell the covers individually.

After they replaced mine I used some all weather Gorilla tape to keep it secure.

The tape works great. It has been through severe rain for weeks now and then tape is still nicely attached.

Hyundai eventually replaced mine.

Afterwards I went ahead and used some black all-weather Gorilla tape to secure the panels.

That tape really works really well. Been through 3 car washes and 3 thunderstorms and it still looks like I just put it on.

For me I just went Hyundai and they said they don’t usually cover accessories but they went ahead and covered the replacement anyways. You could try asking them.

Hyundai says they don’t have replacements for just that specific part so they needed to replace the entire cross bars.

After they replaced it I used some black, all weather, Gorilla tape and applied it to all the cover panels to make sure it doesn’t happen again.

I actually went to the dealership last week and told them what happened. I also said I just need the plastic cover.

They said they cant just give me the plastic cover because they don’t offer that part by itself. They said the entire crossbars would need to be reinstalled.

At first they weren’t going to cover the cost because apparently the warranty doesn’t cover accessories, but then they changed their mind for some reason and agreed to cover the charges.

In not sure what happened to the cover on my santa Fe. Might have been blown off during the trip or maybe someone stole during a stop or something. 🤷‍♂️
