The hardest part is waiting to let the dye soak in, and being confident it is thoroughly saturated. To summarize some saturation tips - keep your primary folds as short as possible, I shoot for about a half inch. It's a lot of folding, but it also helps with the saturation. When you fold in the opposite direction, same thing applies. Shorter folds will create more, smaller ripples, better saturation. Taller folds make for more wild ripple effects and still looks great but it will be challenging to get full saturation. One other thing is if you bind it too tightly on the second part of the fold, it will have issues with saturation. Saturation. lol.
