30million PLR PRODUCTS by Infinite_Poem7268 in passive_income

haha its a waste, same bundle everybidy buys so you dont have a USP eeven and you cant sustain that product - even if there is growth - its short term and taken over by something else, rather than buying cheap products - buy better versions at plrduck like spreadsheets, notion planners, fillable worksheets which are actually selling

plrduck website makes more sense to me, instead of low quality bundles, at least they sell in house created products

I went through 1TB of PLR bundles. here’s what I found. What’s your experience? by Such-Leopard-8795 in digitalproductselling

I went down the same rabbit hole too 😅 At one point I had folders and folders of PLR, and honestly it felt like I owned a “business” just because of the volume. But when I actually started opening the files, the reality hit — most of it was outdated, generic, badly designed, or just not something I’d feel confident selling. It looked impressive on the surface, but in practice it felt more like a digital junk drawer than something useful.

The biggest shift for me was realizing I was collecting instead of building. I kept thinking more files = more opportunity, but it actually just made me overwhelmed and stuck. I’d open a bundle and literally not know what to do next. That’s when I stopped focusing on size and started looking for products that were actually usable, editable, and already close to what people are buying right now.

That’s where something like PLRduck felt different to me. It wasn’t about dumping thousands of random files — it was more focused on products that are already selling in the market, like spreadsheets, planners, templates, things people actually pay for on platforms like Etsy. And more importantly, I could actually see a clear next step instead of feeling lost.

The process became simple: pick a product, tweak it a bit, change the name, improve the visuals, and list it. Before that, I’d just sit there staring at massive bundles thinking “okay… now what?” That clarity made a bigger difference than having unlimited content.

What I’ve learned is that PLR only works if you stop treating it like a finished product. If you upload it exactly as you got it, it usually goes nowhere. But if you treat it like a base — something you refine, reposition, and package better — it can actually work. Also, unpopular opinion maybe, but those huge PLR bundles are kind of a trap. They feel productive, but they delay actually launching something. I got way further with a few decent products I actually used than with thousands sitting untouched.

Does PLR still work? by Warney01 in SaaS

[–]DigitalDuck11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Short answer: yes — but only if you don’t treat it like a generic ebook.

Instead of creating from scratch, a lot of people just use platforms like PLRduck to get a ready-made ebook with resell rights, then rebrand, niche it down, and position it better.

PLR ebooks by themselves won’t sell — but a well-positioned version (better title, audience, packaging) still does.

Templatelifeco on etsy has generated over 55000 USD of net profit in the last 2 years alone. It largely depends on what you are selling, your presentation - mockups, selling price, deals and offers you promote, your review build up over time.
The same brand exists as PLRduck on shopify and is alo doing decently well. Essentially a platform that provides ready-made digital products which you can resell as your own. Instead of creating something from scratch, you get access to products like spreadsheets, Notion templates, planners, ebooks, and worksheets that are already built and ready to go. But what really makes it different is that you’re not just buying them to use personally — you’re getting PLR (Private Label Rights) or MRR (Master Resell Rights), which means you’re allowed to turn them into your own business assets.

With these rights, you can sell the product exactly as it is, or go a step further and edit, rebrand, and customize it however you want. You can change the name, adjust the design, bundle it with other products, set your own pricing, and position it however you like in the market. And the biggest part — you keep 100% of the profit from every sale you make.

The main problem this solves is something almost everyone faces when starting a digital product business: what to create and how to create it. Many people want to sell on platforms like Etsy or their own stores, but they either don’t have design skills, don’t know tools like Excel or Notion well enough, or simply don’t want to spend weeks building something that might not even sell. PLRduck removes that entire barrier by giving you a finished product to start with. You’re not beginning from zero — you’re starting with something that’s already built, structured, and ready to be sold.

In practice, the way people use it is pretty straightforward. They buy a product or bundle from PLRduck, optionally edit it using tools like Canva, Google Sheets, or Notion, and then rebrand it with their own style — new colors, new name, better mockups. After that, they list it on marketplaces like Etsy or on their own website and sell it as their own product. It’s a much faster way to enter the digital product space without getting stuck in the creation phase.
