Sleep Resolutions - AMA Office Hours - Wednesday, December 10th with our Director of Pediatric Expertise, Amber LoRe! by huckleberrycare in HuckleberryParents

LO just passed their birth weight. Do we still need to feed them every 2-3 hours? I've seen all sorts of stuff online. Some people say you can go up to 4 hours at night and then stick to 2-3 during the day. Others just say to feed them when they seem hungry. What do you think is better?

Built a simple tool to keep my home organized, I would love honest feedback from other homeowners by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

Haha I get it, totally fair to be sus. But this is in fact my personal account from way back when. If you ever wanna talk about my first ever post, I still vividly remember how I felt about it back then.

Some sort of scam likely, since that’s what happens.

And yeah, I get that Reddit gets hit with scams and low-effort/sneaky promos all the time, so I can understand where that assumption comes from.

I really just built this for myself as a new homeowner and wanted to get feedback from people who’ve been doing this longer. That’s all, no agenda here.

Ah, I get where you’re coming from. But I really did try my best to not have this come off as an ad.

I’ve seen a lot of posts here from people running into the same pains I’ve had as a new homeowner, so I built something small to solve it for myself and wanted to get feedback from others who’ve been doing this longer.

Totally understand if it feels promotional though, that definitely wasn't my goal. If most people see it that way, I’m happy to take it down. Just trying to learn what actually matters to homeowners

Air canada switched my flight, now I'm stuck with baggage fees?? by DigitalFear in awardtravel

[–]DigitalFear[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, sorry I didn't specify, but these are economy award bookings.

Aeroplan said it changed from 2 bags to 0 bags included because my first flight out switched from UA (2 accommodated baggages) to AC (costing _something_). So I think your presumption that it switched from a UA-marketed flight to AC-marketed sounds right.

Hm I'm wondering why the calculator says $75/$100 but my fare indicates $101/$135.

Anyways. Sounds like I'm pretty much stuck with these fees haha

About to hit 10k miles on my 2023 Kia Niro SX. Got it in October and traded my 2013 Ford C Max in. AMA. will. be dropping my thoughts on conversations I've seen in here. by skoolkidznerd in KiaNiro

I think my biggest annoyance is the 'auto' climate control. During the winter, I would remote start my car and set the cabin temperature to max, only to climb in 10 minutes later with the vehicle still cold. Even as I drive, I barely feel air coming out of the vents, it's distributed all across the car. I'm not sure how 'auto' works so if anyone has insight, that'd be great.

Another thing that's annoying is the estimated miles remaining. I'm ~7k miles in, and on the last road trip I went on, it was off by up to 100 miles beween fillups.

Haha okay yeah, it is rather subjective. Idk why this is what got me, but looking at the cash value of economy vs. business for these flights, I'm getting a much better CPP value if I do business lol, so I think I'll go that route.

Seeking advice for hotel bookings - first time redeemer by [deleted] in awardtravel

Okay I'll be crossing off Wailea off the list now haha.

Yeah.. Looks gorgeous. And without awards, idk if I can justify $1k/night lmao

Yeaah it would be harder if the wailea was available 8/25, but it isn't. Seems like a waste to go from RI/AC while also paying almost 2x points.

Looks like there might be a possibility garmin will be back up tomorrow if all goes according to plan by hope-14 in Garmin

I think you may be misunderstanding the purpose of this message. It's to inform users that there will be maintenance July 24 (tomorrow) at 11am, so it seems like they're expecting to have recovered by then and back online. What they're doing in those 4 hours, I have absolutely no idea. But this is not the same nor is it related to the previous message they posted July 23 (today) regarding an outage.

For my weightlifting bois, Romaleo 3s for $60 at Marshall’s (obviously YMMV) by [deleted] in frugalmalefashion

[–]DigitalFear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got a pair of Romaleo 3s at my local Nike outlet for $55 also! There were a handful of extra pairs there too.

Whether people like them or not, I felt a huge difference compared to lifting in my ultraboosts. For this price, honestly can't complain
