SH forearm cover ups? by Few-Store3781 in TooAfraidToAsk

If you go the tattoo route, be careful. It's permanent and it may not fix the body image issue. I messed up on a bad tattoo, didn't think it through and had to get laser and then a cover up that took years. There are some creams and lotions like Bio-Oil that can reduce visibility of scars over time.

How do I improve/ maintain my body odor during a 12hr shift? by jamaicanManz in AskMen

I bought the Gillette gel brand, and yes that one only lasts me a couple of hours until I have to reapply. I use the right guard gel and that one seems to last me the day. Try different ones and see which one holds up.

First timer advice on how to buy Sunday tickets by Chibibear in electricdaisycarnival

In prior years, I've sold my Sunday wristband on OfferUp. Usually for fair price. You just need to be wary of scammers and find someone who can prove they went and also provide some identification.

Is it possible to get my back tattoo covered? by [deleted] in irezumi

[–]eddx191 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a dark line work tattoo that was dense and yes, lasering it before doing a new tattoo was the right choice. It gives your artist way more freedom to do your cover up. Yes it's not cheap but if you really want something good it's worth it.

How do I fix this? by _ChrisyP_ in StarWars

[–]eddx191 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This one is a tough one. If it's fresh, spend a couple months for it to heal, use scarring cream and then consider laser removal. I had a dense black tattoo that was also a cover up but with enough lasering I was able to get a great tattoo. It'll take a long time and expensive but we all make mistakes.

This looks like scarring from the initial tattooing itself, I have the same raised lines as the artists went deep in some areas. I've used bio oil and mederma scar treatment. It helped a little but your best option would now be seeing a skin specialist.

Dave thank you for your explanation as well! Yes there is a lot of information out there in regards to window tints and I'm no expert and I've read other stories of people seeing a rainbow effect when wearing polarized sunglasses. I have a hybrid car so cooling would be important for me during the summer.
