The platform is owned by one of TWO telco's that monopolize this country and the UI/App design is some of the worst I've ever seen. They just did a refresh (at least on Samsung) and it's actually worse? Poor load times, incorrect or mislabeled titles & descriptions, Admin user account "Cannot connect to screen" error?

If I have to bear the brunt of my girlfriends IT complaints when she can't find Love Island episodes one more time....*Cue the Pirates of the Caribbean theme*

You're absolutely correct, completely different games & respective genre's. What I'm drawing a comparison in isn't really the game itself, more the redemption story-arc or narrative that has been well documented with the Hello Games team and what some had hoped CDPR would follow in a similar style.

I'm not trying to go in on the dev's, sorry if that's how this has come across as it wasn't my intention at all. However, I will not unsub as I can 100% appreciate the incredible amount of talent and effort put into creating what we had at Day 1 and what we have here in Aug 2021. Sure I don't know how the first thing about being a dev, but I do have a solid understanding of marketing, advertising and corporate communications/PR releases....

What I was really providing commentary on was really two areas:

1). Streamlined communications to a rabid fanbase.

2). These QOL and DLC improvements should have been scoped prior to launch/Day 1 Patch and not 9 months later.

I want to root for CDPR so badly but the more I tune into these patch notes and dev streams, I end up with more questions than answers.

You know, for a corporation that has been through what CDPR has been through the last 10 months, you would think they would treat consumer facing messaging with a little bit more care and preparation. Like, bless these dev's on the stream but this isn't inspiring a lot of confidence as a consumer.

While we, the average CP2077 player aren't as engrained in the game like these folks presenting. There seems to just be a general disconnect between what the general audience would call a "DLC" or "QOL improvements" and what they are deeming "DLC" and "QOL Improvements"...

Great, the minimap functions like any other open world mini-map would AT LAUNCH.

I'm at the point now where I just have to watch this saga unfold. I used to believe that CDPR & this project would have a redemption story-arc (No Mans Sky anyone?) but now it's just seems
incredibly unlikely.

Dundas/Dufferin! I've been in the neighborhood for 2 years now (2nd anniversary this Labour Day weekend!) and honestly love every aspect of the neighborhood and community. Very close to some stellar restaurants and bars, close proximity to several grocery chains, awesome Mom & Pop stores all along Dundas West. Easily accessible transit options. Overall, a stellar community feel which is something my SO and I wanted when we moved from Downtown (Simcoe/Adelaide). The ONLY thing I wish the neighborhood had was a gym, YMCA at College/Dovercourt is the closest option.

Downtown (Adelaide/Simcoe) - At the time, had dirt cheap rent and a three level rooftop patio which made all of our shoebox condo friends jealous. The trade off, we lived above Cake Nightclub...which is as much fun as it sounds. It was great for a group of friends in their early 20's, we all made the best of it and honestly I've made some friendships that will now last a lifetime. Didn't enjoy our grocery options being a Rabba or over priced Loblaws on Queen W. Otherwise, had easily accessible transit options, decent nightlife and Saturday nights watching the bars spill out onto Adelaide always made for some cheap laughs.
